Is the new book as good as the old? Which one should I get, old version or new?
Thanks

The 2009 version is just an updated edition of the old one. Same information but more up to date pictures and maybe some new ideas etc. Go for the new one...

I have the 2002 version, which I think is very good. Is it worth getting the 2009 version?

I have the old one. The table of contents seems to the the same for the new edition. If you like pictures, go for the new one. From what I can see, the new edition does not seem to add a lot in terms of content (please correct me if I am wrong).
If I had none, I would go for the new one of course, but having the previous version I would probably invest the money in something different, like ammo. I have found sometimes I spend too much time reading and watching pictures, instead of actually shooting...

Yes, its an expensive book. But for me being new to rifle, it was/is invaluable. I think an experienced shooter might not get as much out of it.
