Ahh yes certainly. The calculations should only be a starting point. How you actually perceive the sights/target is the important part.
I think I am a 5mm/4mm guy; sub six hold and equal amount of light sides and top.

I did all of the calcs Steve went over. I did it with my FP, AP, .45, and .22. I was looking at all of them to see what the difference was. For some reason for me the 3.9mm front sight I had seemed appear very thin. When I put in a 4.8mm in I could see it better and found it was easier to focus on. Another positive was it is not crooked like the 3.9mm sight I had. I have a Toz35m so that should make sense.
