Yes it should. My match 54, circa 1979, drops into modern stocks without any problem.
Earlier actions that have the safety as part of the bolt, are the only ones that might have trouble fitting into a more recent stock.
The earlier anschutz models with the safety on the bolt still fit into the anschutz round action stocks, you just cant use the safety, as it wont click down.
You can put a round action into stock designed for the 20 series, you just need to use the round action adaptor.
I purchased a 1913 aluminium stock and my 1607 round bottom action fitted straight into it. However I discovered the action touching the stock in places. But an hour with a Dremel tool soon and I had enough clearance.
