SAM 10 Air Pistol cylinder

Post by Robert Distlehorst »

I have a Sam 10 compressed air pistol and one of the cylinders has developed a leak. Can it be repaired? If so at what cost?
If not, where can I find another?
Thanks!

I doubt that anybody in the US will want to deal with it. They are interchangeable with cylinders for SAM K-series available from the factory for about $150 Euros IIRC

I find that hard to beleive. It's not exactly rocket science, you need to find a gunsmith who has airgun experience. He just needs to disassemble, replace the seals, then reassemble. It will be much cheaper that buying a new one. Sending it back to the factory to have the seals replaced would also be an option. Just because it leaks, doesn't mean it's a throw away item!

It doesn't require special tools, and could possibly be accomplished as a DIY project. [ after releasing all of the air ]
