Refilling 80 cu/ft air tank

Post by jak10x1 »

Hi Shooters, IM kinda new to AP shooting so here is my question, a full tank is about 2900 psi =200 bar when full. Is it safe to assume at 1/2 full it would be 1500 psi or about 100 bar.

At what point would you refill the 80 cu/ft scuba tank?

Thanks, John

Is usually refill mine when it gets so low that I can't complete a shooting session on one cylinder. I sometimes extend this by topping my cylinders off with a hand pump.

I get mine filled (to about 230 bar) when I'm down to about 180 bar.

I fill mine when it becomes too much work to top off the cylinder with my hand pump. Typically 125-150 bar.
