Re: First 60 Shot Session - How'd I do?
Well done! This is an excellent first match. I imagine you must have a fair amount of prior shooting experience.
You should consider going to USA Shooting's Winter Airgun Championships in Colorado Springs this December.

Re: Free Pistol at Nationals???
It's there, just scroll up to the top (for some reason the spreadsheet defaults to lower down).
Sadly, participation was down this year, only 19 competitors. I assume from free pistol losing it's olympic status.
P4 is a paralympic designation for free pistol.

Re: Odds of Free Pistol Being Cancelled; Effect on Competiti
Robert Mitchell, the USA Shooting CEO, had a letter about this in the May issue of USA Shooting News. The IOC has announced a plan titled “Agenda 2020” calling for full gender equality in the 2020 Games with equal representation by number from men and women, as well as an equal number of men’s and w...

Re: Collegiate Pistol Championships
Men's Rapid Fire was not shot? Why is that? While the USAMU range at Ft. Benning certainly can be used for rapid fire pistol, the indoor collegiate ranges cannot. At the very least, it would be a safety liability (bullets not being fired straight down range). In any case, rapid fire is not an event...

Air pistol / Free pistol in the Pittsburgh area?
Anyone know if there are any clubs that hold air pistol or free pistol matches in the Pittsburgh, PA area? I may be moving there and was curious about the international shooting scene. Thanks.

Re: PTO and qualifying scores
USAS Nationals is open to anyone--there is no minimum qualifying score required at a PTO match (though they like competitors to have a PTO on file for classification). All US participants must be individual members of USA Shooting (~$40/yr).

Re: Help identifying small metal part from Steyr LP10
Thanks, Dave. Turns out it broke off of part 16, from the head of the screw. Image here http://i.imgur.com/gHDzsWQ.jpg?1 . Not sure why this would have happened. Maybe the screw was too tight? You think it would be worthwhile to replace the screw? Thankfully, it seems like it doesn't have all that i...

Help identifying small metal part from Steyr LP10
I was dry-firing my Steyr LP10 as usual when immediately after one shot, I heard a small metal piece hit the floor. Pictures of the part are here http://imgur.com/a/uGdbm . Does anyone know what part this might be and what its function is? My gun seems to be able to dry-fire normally though I haven'...
