GREAT gun for the price. I have the 6" and 4.5" and both shoot much better than I do. The Trailside was made by Hammerli with SIG and sold in the USA. The X-esse was for other markets. After SIG and Hammerli parted ways in 2005, just the X-esse remained; it is part of the Carl Walther Gmbh...
