Shooting parallels

I am not a golfer but appreciate watching some of the great players. There seem to be a lot of parallels between golf and shooting. My favorite movie on the subject, that could have had it's plot changed from golf to shooting, was the "Legend of bagger Vance". Yesterday I watched the Maste...

Pilkington sells them.
I bought mine new from him a couple years ago.
I think he had a couple used ones for sale on his used equipment site as well.

I had an MG2 for a few days this fall on trial. If I manually retracted the slide and closed it any kind of way I would have the first round not fire. If I allowed the slide stop to hold the slide back then used it to release the slide and let it fly I never had a problem. I loved the gun and it's d...

Reinhamre, Hmmm... I have an extra small powder slide on my 550B and successfully load 1.3 gr VV310 for my Unique 32U. It does take patience to set it up and this may be near it's lower limit but I wouldn't consider it a joke. As I posted earlier I would like to experiment with a Uniflo measure on t...

Dillon 550B

I have been tempted to try to adapt the RCBS Uniflo measure to my 550B for .32 S&W Long. RCBS makes a case activated adaptor kit. The problem is it doesn't bell the case mouth. I guess it's intended for 5 station progressives. Does anyone have any experience going this route on a 4 station press...

162EI trigger

I had the chance to shoot roughly 30 pellets thru a fellow TT'ers 162EI today.
Very nice trigger.
I did not experience any of the "bounce back" feel that had been mentioned here a few days ago.
I shoot an LP10 and I liked the Morini a lot!

Pistolero,
I have no problems using the bleed when filling my LP10 cylinders.
After filling I turn off the SCUBA tank.
Then back off the cylinder one to one and half turns.
Then open the bleeder.
Works great!

Youth pistol

Kelly, Great! There is a lot out there in the sport. I have been to a USAS air pistol clinic, NRA coaches school, 4H leader training, etc this past year. Despite what is sometimes said on this board they are all on the same page! One is supportive of the others in their comments. I believe they exer...

LP10 trigger adjustment

I have an LP10 that I just got finished trying to adjust.
I have the 1st and 2nd stage where I want it but I now have a "click" right at the end of the first stage just as I put pressure on the 2nd stage.
Any ideas as to what I adjusted wrong?
Thanks!

TD Smith

T.D. showed me a picture of the world record targets along with a picture of him firing with Bill Blakenship on the next firing point. I recall he said he had donated the pistol he used to the National Firearms Museum. Also, if I recall correctly, it was a Colt based automatic with a 5 inch slide an...

T.D.Smith

In 1990 I shot NRA Conventional on the Oklahoma Team with T.D. We went to Perry that year and I rode up and roomed with him. What an experience! You should get the reprint of the story when he fell out of the C-47 over the mountains in Europe without a parachute! I no longer live in Oklahoma and hav...

Sparky, Oooops! I found this on our hosts website in a section explaining Rapid Fire: <<Electronic targets differ in that the faces never look any different. There are red lights above the targets and green lights below. The red lights indicate the targets are faced away, and when the green lights a...

Sparky,
I don't know but aren't lights (red light, green light) used at the highest levels of ISSF shooting for at least Rapid Fire?
Perhaps David can tell us when turning targets are required and lights are allowed.
Thanks!
