Empire State Games

Hello, Nice write-up in our local paper about the shooting sports and Sandra Fong: http://www.pressconnects.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080727/COLUMNISTS12/807270328/1003/SPORTS It was like pulling teeth to get coverage for any of shooting events so I'm glad someone finally got the message. Lat...

What do you look for in a range?

Hello, Our club is thinking of making some upgrades and I'd like to get some feedback from shooters as to what we should be looking to do. When going to a range (indoor or outdoor), what types of facilities do you look for? What really makes you go "WOW" when you go to a new range for the ...

Silhouette, anyone?

Hello,

Does anyone here shoot silhouette (air rifle or smallbore)? If not, why?
I find it to be very enjoyable.

Too powerful?

Hi, I guess my question is, Does the LG300 Hunter have too much power for FT? The specs on Walther's web site put it right at 20 ft/lbs. with a 10.5gr. pellet (10.5gr @ 935fps). I would imagine some lighter pellets would go over the magical 20ft/lb. threshold. Anyone have any insight on this? Later,...

Hi,

I believe that was a Krico rifle, but I don't have any more info on it. You may find more info by going here:

Hello, Looking at the rest of the specs (velocity, barrel, etc.) they are exactly the same. If one were harder to pump I'd expect at least some difference in velocity. The maintenance parts are also interchangeable. This leads me to believe it's probably a typo on their end. I really can't feel any ...

Hello, Aside from the differences in stock, the biggest difference is in the sights. The aperature sight set that comes with the 753 is much better than the one that comes with the 853. I bought both a 753 and an 853 for my wife and I and quickly ordered another 753 sight set for the 853. The stock ...

Hello, There is a lot more to this topic than meets the eye. It seems to me that the USA is a nation with chronic "white tail fever". People want to hunt with their guns, not shoot for score. I personally know several people who have been around hunting/shooting for their entire lives (ove...
