Cock the pistol as normal but do not close the cocking lever all the way, the letter "T" should be visible on the left hand side.

Re: Eyewear confusion
Yesso the +0.50 or +0.75 that is talked about in this thread is applied to the spherical deformation number
Cylinder is the amount of astigmatism and is the same for distance and near.

Yes easy to do, but you will need the compensator as fitted to the LP2 to hold the front sight.

Re: Cataract surgery, part 2
Reading matters much more than shooting and you do it much more often :) No,the OP is saying the uncorrected eye is good for reading, computer and shooting. Definitely go with the advice of the eye surgeon. Then get a corrected lens for shooting if necessary. The 2 lens should be compatible is my un...

Re: LP50: Grip Locking Rod - Different Sizes?
It would be easier to try a shorter screw, if it doesn't tighten up properly. According to the parts list it's a M5 X35 , part no 50. The grip locking rod is standard length on all grip sizes. Your L grip won't require a shorter grip locking rod compared to the XL. https://www.steyr-sport.com/en/dow...

Re: Steyr Air Pistol Maintenance and Repair
The stroke of the stabiliser (absorber) piston of my gun was a bit short. Removed the piston from the stabilizer today, and noticed the small o-ring, part # 70, was split. And one of the three small springs under the spring plate, part # 84, was missing. Btw. theese small springs have no parts numb...

Re: Trigger adjustment Steyr LP10
I tried a TEC-HRO shoe , it has the points on the blade like the MEC, I found it uncomfortable during a 60 shot match, probably not a problem for a rifle shooter with a lighter trigger pull.

Re: Trigger adjustment Steyr LP10
I use the trigger blade from the Steyr LG110

A lot more adjustment is possible with this.

Re: Mounting screw for Steyr LP10 Grip
You need a M5X35 for the LP10
Later LP10s (and the Evo10) have a shorter Grip locking rod and use M5X55

Re: Buying air pistol online from European seller
The US border security has a problem with air cylinders as they can not see inside them. Could contain explosives or drugs etc.
