It would be easier to try a shorter screw, if it doesn't tighten up properly. According to the parts list it's a M5 X35 , part no 50. The grip locking rod is standard length on all grip sizes. I tried a TEC-HRO shoe , it has the points on the blade like the MEC, I found it uncomfortable during a 60 shot match, probably not a problem for a rifle shooter with a lighter trigger pull.

I use the trigger blade from the Steyr LG110

Later LP10s (and the Evo10) have a shorter Grip locking rod and use M5X55
