Re: Walther LP3 valve & seals
I tested that 3D printed TPU material on Walther LGR SSP Air rifle valve seal. First version worked for 3 discharges :) Second didn´t work at all, think it was too thick and deformed when installed. I cut that in half to see how well shape fits valve body. Third is ok, we´ll see how long it lasts. I...

Re: Walther LP3 valve & seals
I have a spool of TPU but I haven´t tested printing anything with it yet. TPU doesn´t work with Bambu AMS so need to use ext spool holder. Not a big issue bit still. My main issue with the valve was that I saw pictures of disassembled pistol and there was a part called "Spring guide" I was...

Walther LP3 valve & seals
I went to a closing gunstore nearby and bought among other items two Walther airguns in "kit" format; LP3 and LGR. Kit form meaning that they had been disassembled at some point and were waiting for new seals that never came. Oddly LGR had extra piston and extra chamber end plug (the part ...

Hämmerli 152 electronics
I have had this 50m pistol for few years now. It has always been a bit unreliable, sometimes works fine for a long time, sometimes no click. So now I decided to do something about it. Seems there is bad wire/connection on wires that go to the solenoid. So I will replace those. But what is that short...

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
Local Pardini importer quoted those followers to be 14€ each, but they don´t have any at the moment. They ordered few, but it´ll take a couple of weeks. That´s too long because we have our national championship competitions in two weeks. So to plan B; I made some calls and was able to borrow a Hämme...

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
Gwhite, thanks for those photos! I have two magazines for this pistol. One very well used, other not so much. Neither of them have that plastic tab you marked with arrow. I didn´t think anything is missing until seeing that picture and taking a closer look. There is clear markings on bottom of the f...

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
Ok, thanks, I´ll try cleaning the magazines really well.
Feeding failure never happens on the first round, I´m not sure, but I think 4th and 5th round get most failures.

Same problems with CCI std, SK standard and Winchester. SK´s failed to eject properly, too.

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
A bit older Pardini here.. What causes it to feed like in attached picture?
I have replaced all springs in the bolt (recoil-,firing pin- and extractor spring) also replaced magazine spring and installed a buffer.
Tested with CCI std, SK Standard and some Winchester ammo. Same problems..

Re: Hämmerli 152 vs Walther FP vs Toz
Not going to paint, I like wood texture. Why yellow?
btw, pistol came with muzzle break. Looks similar to 160 model break, but all black.
Were there factory- or aftermarket tuning parts?
Happy new year!

Re: Hämmerli 152 vs Walther FP vs Toz
Bought a Hämmerli 152 today (actually traded to Benelli b76 9mm pistol)
Cost was bit more than that 120€, but this one has metal parts in good condition and grip somewhat fits my hand. With that other pistol.. who knows.

Re: Hämmerli 152 vs Walther FP vs Toz
I cant say I´m an electronics expert, but I have repaired several electronic appliances (TVs, vcrs, camcorders, computers etc) over the years. Also built some simple circuits for my projects. So making spare electronics boards for the Walther is no problem. I have read that the Hämmerli board is enc...

Hämmerli 152 vs Walther FP vs Toz
I sold my Morini- freepistol as I don´t shoot that event much these days (local national team member bought it, will be much better use for that gun) I like to have a 50m pistol in my cabinet. Not interested in investing a lot, 0-200€ is my price range in this. Candidates: Hämmerli 152 - 120€, Walth...

Re: Buying old .22lr rifle
Hi Tim, I think I´ll start weightloss project by shaving weight off the butt plate assembly and from the stock. Cutting the barrel will be last step - if needed. Edit: Buttplate assembly lost 145g.. Heavy duty parts there. Walnut stock weight 1.7kg, so there should be room for losing weight. Found o...

Re: S&W 14-2 for center-fire pistol
My clubmate has a Manurhin 32 revolver with 2-stage trigger. Don´t know who added the first stage to that trigger, but it was not by factory. I tested that revolver last summer and liked the trigger, so I started planning a modification to my 14-2. I didn´t dare to try this with the original trigge...

Re: Buying old .22lr rifle
It´s been a while, but I still shoot with the 1613. Have also shot 300m matches with old M27-66 7.62x53R rifle. My latest gun purchase was a muzzleloading rifle: "Creedmoor Match" that I use in MLAIC events "Vetterli" and "Whitworth" That Vetterli event is 13 rounds in ...

Re: S&W 14-2 for center-fire pistol
Hi ruig!
My best groups were 2.8grains of N320 with .358 bullet cast with that Lyman mould. Groups could be better, but usable for now.
Haven´t shot with the S&W much lately.. I was bitten by the blackpowder bug some time ago :)

Re: Pardini Questions and Answers
I bought a second hand Pardini HP .32 last fall.
Seller said that the pistol was bought new in 1992, so it is quite old.. But good condition and works well.
One thing, do you know what that thing on back of bolt is? Marked with arrow in attached photo.

Re: Correction lens on rifle rear sight
Thanks, I have seen that Anschutz (or something similar) being used here. I have something similar to that in mind, if the 3D print doesn´t work.

Correction lens on rifle rear sight
I read the new ISSF rules. Using single correcting lens mounted on the rear sight of a rifle is allowed. So I started drawing mounting attachments so I could mount the lens and it´s holder (Knobloch) to my rifles. Plan is to make 3D models of the mounting rings and let my friend 3D print them. Corre...
