Re: Oh, the horror! Poor "wet" shooters....
We should all remember that Freedom of Speech only applies to the speech that sensitive people want to hear. Kind of like Lenny Bruce being arrested in the 60's. We have gone full circle. I'm surprised that no one has yet begun criticizing the idea that shooters would drink, period. That usually hap...

Re: pardini buffer (back shock absorber) replacement
I've been able to do it in the past with the buffer attached to the dowel with some thick grease. But I do like the superglue idea since that would be more secure.

Re: Pardini USA physical store
As far r customer service, Vlad, Emil, and Alex have all helped me with a 22 that was imported by Nygord before Alex was even born. They keep a good stock of parts for newer and older pistols. They always return my phone calls and in the Grand scheme of serious shooting, I am a nobody. I shot my fir...

Re: ISSF & Olympics Dropped 50m Prone
Because men's 50 m prone and mens free pistol were existing events, shot on the same course as that used for men's and women's positional. Free pistol was one of the original sports of the modern Olympics and 50m prone rifle was the small bore version of 300m prone. They were sports that I watched i...

Re: The Bullseye Clinic with Brian Zins
In 2016, I drove 520 miles to attend a two day Zins clinic. It was worth it.
If I had come home and immediately implemented more of what I had learned I would be in a better position today.

Re: The Bullseye Clinic with Brian Zins
Trying to offer adequate written review of the Zins clinic has proven impossible for me. I have 20 pages of notes, and hours of recordings. But the fact is that he can show you things in seconds that are very difficult or impossible to explain in writing or with words. I know that I’m not the only p...

Re: 50m Free Pistol dropped from W/C
It isn't about tv coverage IMHO. Although the US has a large percentage of gun ownership among the population, few are interested in competitive shooting and fewer still are interested in international style shooting. On average gun owner forums, there is little interest in shooting pistols beyond ...

The irony here is that one of our shooters just won another World Cup medal in Rapid fire.
It's not like US shooters aren't winning.

You can change magazines with the Ransom Rest. I do it all the time with the 1911, because for long line I only use one magazine. I have never used the Ransom Rest single loading with a magazine fed pistol.
Post your rest and hand held groups along with the distance.

Your range definitely might not like that. We see lots of wall strikes when people shoot multiple close targets.

Re: New to 10meter air pistol
Actually I am 2 hours farther away than Chris in Central Virginia. I just wondered about what was available elsewhere. I think that the only way we will have airgun in this area is if I do it. And that's a stretch with running Bullseye, shooting two winter 22 leagues and one Summer league, Running a...

Re: New to 10meter air pistol
Chris,
I have an LP10 mechanical that has a mostly stock grip if you want to try it sometime. I've shot the 162-EI and it is NICE. I may know where there is a used one that was basically used only for dryfire and SCATT use for the last 10 years.

XTPs are perfectly legal as are HAPs and Noslers. They are "jacketed hollow points."
what's not legal is a 9mm 1911 for an EIC.
