I've had to replace broken pump linkages on three IZH's, which requires disassembling the piston. I've never had a problem unscrewing the inner section of the piston completely. Something isn't right... The set screw is supposed to go into one of the slots. If it missed by a bit, it may have bugger...

I've tried that before, and the last step, unscrewing the piston, always jams up. Set screw is out, it turns a bit, but then locks hard. Plus I don't really know if it's shooting weak or not, it's certainly much slower than my Steyr but I couldn't say if it's any slower than when I bought it.
