ITS PERSONAL PREFERENCE! Everyone is different. One thing may work for a guy over there but not for you and vice versa. You need to experiment yourself. The sling shouldn't hurt your wrist. Also, as you experiment, give the rifle a little wiggle. If it moves a lot with little force, theres a problem...

Great lists! Just think. If you needed to go to camping trip, what would you need? After every year, you find more things to add to ur list. I find it best to write things down regarding special Camp Perry procedures like registration and claiming award points

I use a 1813 Super Match in the original wood stock for prone and 3-P and I like it. But It all comes down to personal preference. Though aluminum is generally more adjustable, there are a couple wood stocks that offer 90% of the critical adjustments you would typically see on an aluminum stock. Gen...

Heres what i know: Bloop tubes can help with a couple of things. They increase your sight radius, which gives you better front sight clarity, and allows the shooter to see more movement, so they can better time their shot and shoot a more accurate group. The first concern with bloop tubes is that th...

note that because leather stretches, even over the course of 20 minutes, you will probably have to adjust the straps to keep your position consistant. I prefer synthetic. I have a champions chioce sling that has fabric woven within a synthetic shell. great sling

As far as I know, no. That are ot avialable in the US. I think you can contact Anschutz and get one from the factory, buIm not sure. The idea behind the F27 is that it operates like a biathalon rifle, but has the extreme accuracy needed for smallbore shooting. The concept, I thought, was cool and co...

P70 and 700 Alu stock

I got talking to my buddy about air rifles and he said that it was possible to put a P70 action in a 700 ALU stock. He said that the only thing you may need to change was the barrel support. As much as I trust him, I was pretty skeptical. Is it possible? I dont want to buy a 700 ALU stock to find ou...

I do have a rulebook. I have 4. The problem I ran into was that I looked at the official results booklet that was sent after the championships and saw the 50 yard target on the cover, but saw 50 meters written below every indidvidual match. I was like ....ok. I laughed at first cause I thought the g...

The 2000 series guns are going to be a bit heavier than the 1900 series guns. The weight of the 2000 series makes them a balance point a little further back towards the butt plate (compared to a 1900 series gun with the same barrel length) and it also makes them have a greater potential for accuracy...

just be careful about mirage, especially on hot and/or humids days on a large range. A 36X scope at 100 yards will look considerably different than a 24X scope at the same distance. Not only from a magnification stand point but also from clarity quality as well. You'll see a lot less mirage with a 2...

I recently got a SCATT training system and I have been dry firing a bit, but not much at all. I just got an email from Eric Uptagrafft about his barrels. He says one has a Krieger and the other has a Shilen. But Matt Emmons shoots with a Lilja barrel. Though it seems that a lot of benchrest shooters...

Im sorry for the confusion. I gave you guys an inaccurate description. There is a space/void that appears just above the chamber face (where the chamber face intersects with the upper, inside lip of the action itself). Just to clarify, the chamber face is the portion of metal above the chamber itsel...

Rebarreling help!

I recently found out that the barrel on my 1813 super match is not in the correct position. There is a space between the chamber face and the inside, upper, left hand corner of the action (just above the left bolt lug space). I assume that the action is fine and that the barrel needs to be replaced....
