It's so it won't snag on the holster - you know, for quick-draw ;)

Pardini K10 cylinder valve washer?
I need a replacement washer for a K10 air cylinder. The one on the valve has a tiny chip broken off that causes a fast leak. It looks like a simple replacement. However when I looked into ordering one from Pardini USA (cost: 10 bucks) the international shipping to Montreal was unreal, so I'm hoping ...

Re: Replacement MC-55 rear sight blades
By all means get a mill. Its an absolutely perfect desktop mill part That said, its brass and once you get a hole in it, everything else is 5 minutes with a vixen file and a quick mill file finish....... You can whip it out that way far easier than doing 3 ops, 2 sine plate moves and a cutter chang...

Re: Replacement MC-55 rear sight blades
Once again I appreciate the replies but must elaborate on my reasons for desiring not to glue, solder, or otherwise modify my rear sight. First of all, the MC-55 (or, for the purists, MЦ-55) owners manual shows that the guns were sold with a wooden case, cleaning rod, jags, tools, and spare parts in...

Re: Replacement MC-55 rear sight blades
As regards gluing and soldering, I prefer not risking damage or destruction of the original part, seeing as they are so hard to find. Anyway, I spent the afternoon filing an old piece of steel, blued it, and now own a 0.10-inch gap rear sight. The old one was 0.15-inch. I read somewhere (Igor's toz3...

Re: Replacement MC-55 rear sight blades
I appreciate the replies. I have posted a couple photos. The MTs-55-1 rear sight plate is not a flat piece of metal. Turning it over and cutting another slot is not an option, as there isn't enough metal. The side of the plate that contacts the sight has a transverse ridge with a central slot that f...

Replacement MC-55 rear sight blades
This is a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a source for rear sight blades for the MC-55. I haven't found any posts on the topic after searching for some time. I bought my MC-55 used, with only the pistol and none of the tools or replacement parts shown in the manual. Unfortunately the...

Re: Disassembly of Gehmann/FX 4 stage hand pump
I got the service kit from Cibles Targets Canada but their instructions were to use the included parts diagram and look at the videos. I did that but in the end I just had to devise my own procedure. It is not rocket-science, but getting started was not at all like the 3 stage procedure. I had the a...

Disassembly of Gehmann/FX 4 stage hand pump
Does anyone have, or know of, basic step-by-step instructions for disassembly of the FX 4 stage "turbo model" hand pump? All I have found on the web are instructions and video for the 3 stage pump, but that is a different animal. On the Gehmann support pages I haven't found anything for th...

Re: Don’t like loading magazines..look at this aftermarket speedloader for Matchguns MG2.
I don't find I need more than 15s to load my MG2 mag, so the gain in speed might be minimal, but it might take less effort to use the loader.

Re: Anyone here been or going to Canadian Grand Prix?
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/fs-fd/visit-visite-eng.htm The key is to declare your ap at the border and pay the temporary permit fee. A hard locked case and a trigger lock on the ap. This can be a zip tie if need be. I recommend you keep your pellets separate as restricted firearms are not su...

Re: ELY pellets
As an afterthought: I buy sleeves of pellets from different lots. By storing the sleeves together, with their slightly different atomic structure, each sleeve will interfere with the others for a "negative" and "positive" effect. I then select the "positive" pellets an...

Re: MG2 firing pin replacement instructions
I think its a ø2.5mm pin. A 2mm screw or bolt will give you problems. Why did you dismantle the disconnector anyway? You're right it is 2.5mm, my fat fingers can't type. I didn't deliberately remove the disconnector pin. It just fell out. A strange coincidence that this happened the same time that ...

Re: MG2 firing pin replacement instructions
Still waiting to hear from MG (I need instructions on how to pay - is it paypal??!). Meanwhile, I cut an improvised firing pin from the end of an 11/64" drill bit. It seems to work fine. The f.p.retaining pin on my MG2 was staked at both ends, so it didn't seem to me to make any difference which...

Re: Can I save my club from itself?
Funny how life is: Last year - after a few months or procrastination I finally decided to join a close by range - and then it was closed. I'm an AP shooter just starting out but serious. Now I need somewhere else to shoot and get some instruction. If you're in Montreal, contact the Fédération Québe...

Re: MG2 firing pin replacement instructions
The retainingpin om my mg2 was 2mm solid steel. Straight in shape, to knock either way. The recess for the retainingpin in the firingpin is too deep. So they bend and crack. I changed 2 in a year. Thanks. I knocked the retaining pin out, mine is 1.9mmx7.7mm, a bit small and short. So it slides back...

MG2 firing pin replacement instructions
Are there instructions anywhere for replacing the MG2 firing pin? (MG2 mechanical trigger, not RF, although that shouldn't make a difference). There is a vertical pin in the bolt/slide that is not indicated on the parts diagram that has me a bit puzzled. I am assuming that its purpose is to retain t...

Re: Follow the money
Things are not always what they seem. The kids protesting are certainly sincere, but sincerity alone is no guarantee that their solution is right or that it will have any effect. I'm seeing more and more evidence that the Florida tragedy is less about failure of gun laws, and more about failure of g...
