Cool New training Aid

Today I tried out a really cool training aid from www.mantisx.com, and it's only $150. A lot less than a SCATT or similar system. If you're in Oregon, Neal Caloia at Gun Pro is stocking the item. You do have to have your own IPad, smart phone, etc. Although the company only has a few adapters to fit...

FAS Mag Springs

Hi, The Domino/FAS pistols are/were some of the best Standard Pistols made,, in terms of accuracy and ease of shooting. The only weak point was the magazines. The fix however is really simple. Th mag springs are too weak to always raise the next round in position to be picked up by the bolt. http://...

I use Leupold low rings which makes it easy to remove and re-install for cleaning etc.

FAS 602

The Domino/FAS pistols are very good pistols. With the possible exception of the new Morini .22's, the FAS has one of the lowest bore lines. This is one of the reasons they were popular as rapid fire pistols. I owned all three of the versions and currently have a 901 (a newer 601), and a 602. If you...

Air Pistol fps

One of my first match air pistols many years ago was a CP2. It chronographed around 450fps with a full charge and light pellets. I always left the adj screw set at the factory setting.

M-41

Hi Gary; Are you wanting to scope the M-41 you're giving your daughter? Is she a Junior? If so the M-41 with a scope is a very heavy pistol. A scoped short barrel M-41 is heavier than a scoped 1911. If she is a Junior then it's best to use iron sights and shoot the 5.5" heavy barrel as it's leg...
