Anybody using a KK500 in a GE XRS Stock?

Is anybody out there using the new KK500 action in a Grunig XRS stock? If so how have you attached the two together? Adaptor plate? Or drilled the stock to suit?

I love my XRS stock but would like to update the old action and barrel that it carries.

Any help greatly appreciated

Cheers

Re: Pardini GPR1 - Trigger Weight Adjustment

First and second stage weights are directly related to each other on this rifle. To increase second stage weight you must also increase first stage. BP and MP relate to velocity adjustment. The ca screw alters sear engagement. An fwb 700 manual will give the best discription of how to adjust this co...

That's a mavena sport pistol.

You can find the mount listed in their Price list tuning section (PDFs download)

It's a Czech company so you will need to use google chrome to translate the site.

Ryan your podcasts are great!

As you are using YouTube as your broadcast medium, have you considered using some diagrams/photos to help visualise what you are talking about?

Or maybe even going the whole hog and introducing some video?

Re: "frozen" adjustable rear iris for rifle

Gehmann irises have a 30 year warranty. Send them back for service.

Tho if you have used pliers on them they are now probably egg shaped and beyond repair.

Eley test at 50m, what's interesting is that it's from a recoiling rig. Normally it's barrelled action clamped in a vice.

Re: Some help with translation please

remmy223, Do you have any idea what system the data came from? I think you will have more luck in deciphering this if you can find a manual for that system. Even if it's in German, translating any descriptions they give might shed some light. You can translate the labels, but that obviously doesn't...

Re: Premium match rifles for blind shooter. Help please!

+1 for the styer lg110. Michael Whappels shoots one, he's the first blind shooter to go against sighted shooters in the uk, and very well he has done too!!! The lg110 is side cocking and has a dovetail for the scope. Another plus is that it's pellet to loading tray rather than pellet to breach which...

@Landy

If im right you test a lot in the bench rest circles.

Did you ever do any work/research with the PRX formula that was all the rage a while back? What were your findings opinions in relation to its effects/effectiveness as a method?

Re: FWB 700 problem

The dry fire switch on some earlier fwb700s is prone to wear. It will give this problem. The switch will need replacing. Btw it won't always get picked up at service as the fault propagates very quickly meaning, one day it will be fine then the next it will have worn just enough to fault
