Re: TOZ 35M Free Pistols For Sale

These guns need a good home. They were great fun to shoot. I went to Ft Benning with them and to the Olympic Training Center. They always shot better than I did.

Let's talk offline if you like. PM me.

TOZ 35M Free Pistols For Sale

IMG_4980.jpeg I have two TOZ 35M free pistols in the original boxes with all tools and some spare parts. One has a rink grip; the other has no grip (as originally purchased from Larry's Guns some 8 years ago). Both are in good condition - well-loved and cared for. Asking $700 each plus actual shipp...

Re: Eley Test Fire

Results of my test... I sent two TOZ free pistols to Texas to be test fired at the Eley facility. Each pistol cost me $45 for the test and $23 for the return shipping (shipping to Texas cost me about $35 by FedEx). Here is a copy of the report they sent me on one of the guns - https://drive.google.c...

Eley Test Fire

I'm considering having my guns tested at the Eley test range in Texas. The cost is only $45. I think it will be interesting to see what they come up with. Anyone else try this with a Free Pistol?

Re: TOZ 35m light hits

Echo to Fred B. I have two TOZ 35s & thought both had problems. Turns out I was not cocking the lever far enough. When properly cocked the lever should be floppy. If there is tension on the lever you are not cocked such that the firing pin hits the brass. I learned a great deal about the gun whe...

Re: TOZ-35M trigger problem

Did you get the problem fixed? I have a TOZ and had a similar problem. Try adjusting the trigger weight screw (in front of trigger guard) half a turn - try clockwise - try to set trigger if that does not work go counter clockwise . If that does not help... Look behind the trigger. There is a small s...

Re: How to coordinate weight lifting with pistol shooting

I started an aggressive weight lifting and conditioning program in May - CrossFit. Spending 3 days a week in the gym lifting bigger and bigger weights. Getting stronger and in better condition has helped my shooting and my overall well being. I dont see how getting stronger and in better shape could...

Re: Free pistol arm/head positioning

My approach... Stand comfortably, feet under shoulders, arms at sides, raise both arms up as if to hug a child. Drop your non-shooting hand. Where your shooting hand is now is roughly your natural point of aim. Shift rear foot to put you on the target. Grip gun, raise up onto target. Hold comfortabl...

Free Pistol Substitute Pistol

I have two identical free pistols and one grip. If, in a match my gun malfunctions would I be allowed to declare the second gun a substitute pistol, remove the grip from the malfunctioning gun and put it on the substitute? I've hunted the rules and can find no issue. Thanks for ideas.

Re: Query for Experienced Competitive Shooters.

I'm not "experienced" but I do know what has hurt me in the few matches I have been in... Dont always train in ideal circumstances. Change the light. Put on different shoes. Use tinted glasses. I train in the comfort of my den and on a very quiet range. Competitions are not perfect. I have...

I have bought 4 guns from Larry in the past 3 years. I have never had anything but great service.

Every time I call with a question Deanna or Amanda are ready to help.

I'd never hesitate to buy a gun from him.

(Great thread by the way -- thanks)

Really like the 2nd stapler suggestion. Add extra pens to the list. The people near me seem to always need pens. I put a can of tuna in a tupperware container and bring a plastic fork. I nibble that through the match. I find it helps me to stay fueled. I also have a protein shake in my cooler. I sta...

Here's what I did: I asked for a plug on one hole thinking the scorer might see something with the plug in (this was a wrong move as the issue was not over points but number of holes). Fail. I scuffed at the dirt and went to the bench to shoot the 3d and 4th string. Shot a 99-6x. Here's what I'll do...

I had no beef with the scorer. He scored what he saw - as he should.
