I often practice without pants,am a bit lazy getting suited up,the next day i often have muscle pain in my back. They provide Plenty of back support thats why they are cut so high.So in that sense they do help my scores just by me being pain free when i wear them.

As suggested by Dude there is also Pilkguns who sell the Steyr as well as others, dont count this rifle out its very well made and comes in a left hand version. You are probably close enough to stop by and hold one at least its another option.

Dont know if this is much help but i also have a 2213, the torque setting should be set at 6Nm.Thats what i set mine to and it shoots just fine.If you think the pad in there now is worn you can order a new one, item number 001969 also there is the abutment 001967.Good luck
