Unfortunately it's true and I am offended by the implication that I am lying.
I have the targets if you would like me to mail them to you.

A sad fact of my AP life, I shoot better scores
with the target facing away from me. Yes on a pure cream target I am a better shooter. I shot my first 558 in my WHOLE LIFE while shooting on the white, shooting on the black my best is 544. I don't get as many "deep tens" but man I get a lot near edge 10's. One other interesting factoid.....

Re: up coming EU lead ban
If the EU bans lead, they might as well not have shooting teams. There is no match quality lead replacement product on the market for smallbore or airguns. I know a couple countries are moving quicly to limit lead in outdoor shooting events without full encapsulation...but ban all lead? then don't b...

Re: P70 Vs LG100
I have the P-70 alum, the LG 100 and now the P-700...I would say that the LG is probably the best for my shooting style. I used to be a huge fan of the FWB guns but with the recent advent of the p 700, I am a confirmened steyr guy. The only downside to the steyr that I can see is the barrel attachme...

Re: Need trainingplan/advice on dumbell lifting.
This is going to sound earthy crunchy but try Yoga. You do not need a lot of muscle mass to hold up a pistol, you do need stamina, flexability, and concentration -- Yoga provides this and more. Yogatrains both mind and body at the same time, not treating the two as different components of the same s...

Re: .22 ammo testing
I use a return to battery machine rest, and oddly most manufacturers do too, either that or a barreled action in a lock down device. The key is you are testing ammo in your action, not how well you can shoot the ammo in your action, the main issue being which ammo has the maximum accuracy potential ...

Re: Paintball tanks to refill CO2 airpistols
It depends on your area...you can run a small tank (20#) and use that to gang fill your smaller containers, often times you can take your 20# in and get it filled...the main issue is how much does it cost in your area, renting a large tank or getting individual fills, or bulk filling and ganging off...

I am not sure you will get more as the calculation that I did works with the minimum needed pressure of about 1450 PSI existing to get shot one (1451 actually). The issue being you never fill off of an empty but below 1451 PSI, you can't really shoot effectively. If at all possible find out when you...

Re: age ranges?
When will there be NRA run postals for Air Pistol? Seems that to date there hasn't been a lot of interest if you ask the postal coordinator for the NRA. I think one of the major stubling blocks is the NRA should offer junior postals run by the NRA to get the ball rolling because there sure isn't a l...

It's funny how I gave you an answer, and yet now you are trying to tell me how it's done. P1V1=P2V2 is good but it's not as accurate as it could be, plus again you are asking how many fills you get before you can't fill anymore. So the volume of loss in your fill system is of interest, the speed at ...

Re: Sending the pistol off to the gunsmith
You may want to look at the individual regulations from the companies but generally it's got to be next day or next day saver (depending on the compnay). The main problem with shipping handguns is that most of the counter people have NO idea what the rules are so you may want to bring a copy of the ...

It's a bit more complicated than that as you have Boyle's, Charles', and Avogadro's laws as well as the dynamics of fill and temperature (artificial due to fill rate) and ambiant temperature outside the bottle. As well well looking at volume and pressure, the pressure in your bottle is at a given vo...

Re: Youth AP is easy to start
That's so true, pistol is a breeze compared to rifle. Yes there are lots of "rifle sales" programs but then you need all the other stuff...and that costs a LOT of money.
AP is very easy...some 7x7's or 46's and a bunch of pellets and some targets and you are well on your way.

Re: Where is a good place to buy finale Match pellets?
Cibles targets in Canada has the lowest prices for H&N pellets. After shipping they end up being about $55 US.
They will also allow direct import under an OEM brand name into the US.

Re: Interpretation of rule
Well then there is a significant divergence in judging in the ISSF as some of your peers seem to think it's not OK. So again we are at an impass as the ISSF rules I live under seem to be different than the ones you seem to enforce, or don't enforce. Incidentally, I am an ISSF Judge A in Rifle, Pisto...
