Re: Some practice advice would be appreciated
If I see the sights tend to drift off more than usual tremor, I abort. Maybe I'm not good enough to see all of these shots, so the shot tend to wander off to the left, or lower left. From what I read from your replies, the first task it to identify and abort when sights drift. If I'm not able to see...

Re: Some practice advice would be appreciated
Thank you all for your replies. About the head. I think this is a valid point. I use shooting glasses and try to keep the head straight, but I have noticed that during 5 shot series I tend to tilt the head to the right. I will try to focus on keeping my head head straight. (My wife will call this an...

Some practice advice would be appreciated
I have been shooting air pistol (Lp10) and sports pistol (Partini sp22) for some years. My goal is to shoot 600 p in every dicipline, so I need som advice. ( I know that this goal is tad high :-) ) For some years I have tried to become stronger in different parts of the body (stomach, back, shoulder...

You ask for what I have learned, and I think you will get different answers depending on who you ask. I started shooting 3 years ago, with coaching only once or twice a year. We are a couple of shooters who read everything we can, both in our native language (not a lot) and english including fora on...

How to build "top lip" ?
This discussion is very interesting, and the pictures also. I have a question I hope someone can help me with (or guide me to where to find the answer). I have a LP10 with at standard large grip. When viewing the pictures shown ,I find that the top "lip"of my grip, right below back sights,...

Thank you all for replies. Tedbell : none of the above, I would like to train rapid 5 shot series on precision and rapid fire targets, with 5 shots in one target. Time 6,8,10 and 20 seconds. Also duel series. crocan : my Pardini came with a red plastic plug for dry fire training. About my home boss ...

Training 5 shot series at home ?
I shoot different ISSF-style competitions i Norway, air pistol, standard pistol ++, but not yet rapid fire. My "gun wardrobe" contains a Pardini SP new and Steyr LP10 (and cz 75 shadow for fun). I dry fire both guns at home, and also shoot the Steyr at my home range (7 m) at scaled targets...

Thank you very much for replying. I am doing this to play around with gas equation pv=nRT, and I don't expect it to be very useful or practical for my practise with Steyr LP10. We start with a certain amound of gas molecules in a container at a certain temperature. Every time I hook the tanks togeth...

Steyr LP10 air tank volume ...
I would like to calculate how much the pressure in my 200 bar 15 L scuba tank decreases every time I refill my LP10 air tank. This will not be perfect, since I am treating air as one ideal gas, not a gas mixture. What I need is the volume of the LP10 tank, which I can not find. I also need the press...

New version
I have changed the app a bit. My voice is not deep , so I still have to use a computer to generate it. There is now a choice for loading time, and which series you want to practice. The choice is marked with a green button. You get a beep to signal pressing start button, then the chosen load time , ...

Thank you for the feedback. As for using this app on Symbian, I do not know how to make it work , sorry. Thanks for the tips on sound , I will see what I can do. About just 10 sec delay before ready or attention - that is a choice I have made. I have a program written in python (works on LInux) with...

Android for symbian ?
I do not think this will work. My app is written in the MIT app inventor. It is translated to java ,I think, and then written in a file which only android phones use. Your phone uses Symbian as far as I can tell. If you look at http://www.targetshooting.ca/ at the pistol training section you will fi...

Android app for training ISSF pistol.
I have earlier tried to make a python programme for pistol training (ISSF) disiplines. This : http://www.4shared.com/android/XJVwVLle/Standardpistol.html?refurl=d1url is another try. It is called Standardpistol, but you can try all timed disiplines. It is an simple app, but will hopefully help . Sin...

I would like to try something like this myself. Is it just to remove the grips for study, og do I have to be careful about certain screws or something ? Does anyone have the measurements for the original (blueprints ?) and a suggestion for what kind of material (please be spesific - I live in Norway...

Python pistol
I am a member of a small pistol club in Norway. Usually we are only a few training together, and it is too bad to have one of us keeping track of time during standard pistol training. Safety on the range is of course important, so anyone using my program it will have to think by themself. I have not...

Thank you. My problem is that in Norway there are not so many serious dealers of air guns. Maybe 5 or 6 in total ( Only 4 mill people ). I have phoned them all, and so far none of them can help me. Midway.no have this Gamo gun oil, so then I will go for it. My local sports dealer actually have RWS s...

Gamo Airgun Oil in Izh 46 M ?
I have just aquired this beautiful gun. I have read a little bit about cleaning, but since I live in Norway it becomes a little bit difficult. I would like to use Crossman pellgun oil, but I can not seem to get it. Neither Amazon.com nor Crosman will send it to Europe. However , I can get Gamo Airgu...

My brother is going to Houston, USA in a week. I would like him to bring this air pistol back for me. Does anyone know of any shops in Houston where he could purchase this ?
