We all agree...
A battery failure should be an alibi. That's what I'm hearing from you guys and the direction I'm going to go. I was just hoping for a little NRA legislation I could quote to support my position. I read the rules on bulleyepistol.com too. I wasn't satisfied with rule 9.5 as pertains to a dead batter...

Red Dot Dead Battery: Alibi or Not?
We're having an argument in my little handgun club. I run a weekly "casual" bullseye match. It's .22 pistol only, but we allow almost any sights; iron, scope or dot. We correct scratch scores to handicapped ones. Typically I have about 30 shooters in our little bowling league. These guys r...

Thanks for the insight Steve
I don't think many can disagree, I'd have to say it's like you were looking thru my eyes... But I'm still not clear what to do about it. I can call my shots. I know when I've shot a 10. I know when I've shot an 8. I know what clock position the shot breaks at. And I know when I've really screwed thi...

Interesting Experiment - But What's It Mean?
So a couple of nights ago I went and shot air pistol. I "practiced" a match. But I kept a backer target behind and after about 40 shots I could see my overall group. I'm holding the 8-ring, I didn't have any "oh shits" out into the white, and maybe 3-4 mental errors into the 7 ri...

We think alike James
I own one. I lucked out and picked up a new unfired one. No case and only one mag. It's still in the safe unfired. I 've looked around for more mags, etc. There's nothing to be found. And I think that's the problem really, not whether it's more prone to breaking, but if it ever does, you're done. Bu...

I have the same problem...
I'm going to modify my box too, but I'm going to leave the guns standing up right. I'm going to make a new tray. It is going to be stepped. So the pistol grip will have to go on the deeper side and I'll gain the clearance for scopes/red dots. I'll have to knotch the vertical wall and the floor on on...

2nd Both
And I've used both in .45 ACP SWC too. No complaints there either. And I got the National cheap! Meister has a great reputation on our line, but since they relocated and have been harder to get, people are expanding their views. I also like those Lasercast bullets.

A Pardini was my first choice - maybe next year. You've got to be flexible when an opportunity comes your way. And I love my Morini air pistol - who knows, maybe I'll get brave enough to take it to Toronto.

I got an "E" gun, I got an "E" gun!!
After years of shooting my Mark II Ruger I finally decided to see what an upgrade in equipment could do for me. Now I've got an "E" gun like the big boys! You know what I mean of course, all the serious shooters have "E" guns. Guns like: HammerlE, PardinE, MorinE and BenellE. I'm...

Suggestions
(1) Watch the scope height to the top of the box. I bought an old Pachmayer case at our last gun show, I'm going to have to modify it to allow my guns with (gasp) red dots on them to fit. My non scoped guns and air guns fit just fine. (2) If the tray is going to be aluminium, you might consider a co...

CMP Air Rifles - 2002 Anshultz??
Logged on to see the discussion and nary a word on this? Might be gone already. I didn't order one, just wasn't a good enough deal for me. What say you all? LIMITED QUANTITY ANSCHUTZ AIR RIFLES. The CMP has acquired a very small quantity of Anschutz 2002 compressed air rifles and is offering them fo...

Thanks
That's about what I thought too. I've got a top of the line AP and am shooting good pellets. I know I've got a lot more training ahead of me. I'll play with this sizer for awhile tho. Leastwise, when I get to be a good shooter, I'll have this in the bottom of my kit already...

Pellet Uniformer?
Okay, I picked up a Nygord pellet uniformer from another AP shooter the other day. Is there really such a thing or did I get taken? Either way, being an Engineer, it was a gadget I had to have. Drop a pellet in one end of a tube, push it through the choke point with a ram, and viola, a uniformed pel...

Don't believe everything you read Bill...
Events, while based in reality, were heavily exaggerated in the spirit of humor. And the time scale was condensed into a single evening. But that Christmas tree project, now that was real.

Humor and Pellet Tins
It was Thursday night, Air Pistol night at the Rod & Gun Club. I opened my Morini 162EI case at position number 3, and spilled pellets everywhere! The case, bench, and floor were covered. Naturally the snickers started immediately. What the h#&&! I thought the tool kit was rattling too l...
