Re: Need metric M4 fine thread machine screw

Steyr only has short slotted screws for the 10mm rail. I want to install a Picatinny rail. Socket head cap screws about 12mm long would be great.
I have found a few sites that show this screw as a metric standard but no one in the US stocks them.

Need metric M4 fine thread machine screw

I have a Steyr 300M CISM Rifle that I would like to fit with a replacement scope rail.
The problem is that the threads for mounting are 4mm fine pitch - M4x0.5
These are extremely hard to purchase here in the USA.
Any help from international forum members would be appreciated.

1813L Trigger

I have an Anschutz 1813L that needs a trigger.

I have a lead on a 5020L but the factory called out a 5018L
a quick look online shows the difference to be the weight 90-650g instead of 60-490.
Is that the only difference and if so, does it really matter? Seems pretty small.

Re: Olympic front lug action

My mistake. It is Olympian not Olympic
Turns out to be a two lug made in the 80s
Reviews were few and not too good.

Olympic front lug action

I recently saw a front lug (3?) .22LR target rifle marked Olympic.
Never seen one before. Anyone know who makes it. Are they accurate?

Dude, I love a callenge. If the OEM part was priced right, I would buy it. Most of the CMP actions are Mod 54 without bolts and triggers. Price $250-$300+tax. The price that I have on a new bolt is almost twice that! So if someone that knows the best bolt to use as a pattern, please advise. Also wha...

I found a source for aftermarket bolts that is interested in making a run for these CMP rifles (most are model 54 w/o bolts or triggers).
He needs a sample bolt for inspection.
I have a 1413 that I can send him.

I'm thinking that most folks would be better off upgrading to the newer versions???

Who sells complete bolts for Mod 54 actions?
Do 1813 bolts fit these actions?
