Gletcher CO2 revolver for pellets (Lothar Walther barrel)

Hi all, does anybody have experiences with this Russian-made C02 revolver? They use a high quality barrel so I would expect the design to be geared towards precision. The model appears to be based on the Wingun 702 revolver, perhaps with exchanged barrel and internals. http://gletcherguns.com/shop/r...

Hämmerli AP20

..has anybody shot it yet? Any opinions? Walther tried the vertical tank design several years ago but dropped it. I assume it places the point of balance way back. Does this actually help ongoing shooters? You can also flip it into the forward position on this gun, so this looks like an interesting ...

the grip will "remind" it's position if you remove it. A short question about this. Will the grip also allow me to return to a position after altering it? With my Steyr I can e.g. increase the angle by screwing out the screws on one side by half a revolution. If I thenfeel I need to undo,...

I tried one and found that the grip was very thin for a medium - much too thin for me although I otherwise use medium grips sizes. I suppose rink grips will comply to their usual size, so a rink medium will probably be the same regardless for which model it is made. As you said, the carbon saves wei...

The only part that applies to the ring sight appears to be the "protective covering". Is the top of a ring a covering? Or would that just rule out a cover above the actual sight? Does the rule actually say "etc." at the end of the sentence? If so then it sounds like a strange way...

It seems that right now there is no elaboration in the rules at all assuming that the term 'open sight' is self-explanatory. Actually I do not think that a ring sight would provide any measurable advantage at all, it is simply about personal preference (as most other things about shooting). No infri...

How open must an open sight be?

Hi all, it seems difficult to find an exact definition of an open sight. Must the top of the sight be completely flat? Would a ring with a slot at the top (with approximately the width of the bull's eye) be 'open'? Can an open sight envelop the target at its sides like a pair of prongs? Perhaps you ...

My Steyr and all I saw have hex screws, so maybe it was replaced some time and locktite applied? This if none of the above helps then some gentle heating might help.

I tested it and liked it very much, except for the grip adjustment. This is a lot better than previous Walther models but still behind the Steyr. On the Steyr, I can try out new positions and return to the original position by simply moving the adjustment screws to where they were before. E.g., turn...

I found that I often improve when I concentrate on using a new method, simply because it makes me focus on my technique more than I otherwise do. Then when I try to maintain this level I drop back to normal. Small variations from time to time are generally a good approach to find your optimal proces...

I never liked the point system of Visier but the articles are OK. Not biased at all in my opinion, e.g. the article about the Walther 400 was more critical despite good results.

It seems the question rather simple - do you have problems determining the placement of a shot that has been well released? Every shooter can determine that for himself. If a standard length is fine to 'see' a ten when you shoot it, then the reason for shooting lower scores is not related to the sig...

Thanks for the help.

I assume the 604 seal kit might fit the 606 too. Regrettably their website only shows the 604 it seems. I wonder was there any major drawback that the 606 is so scarce?

David,
thanks for the help. Actually I meant the difficulty (strength?) to load the gun using the pneumatic pull handle. Is there a better word for this? Please excuse my insufficient English..

Infos about FAS 606

Hi all,
does anyone have experiences with the FAS 606 pneumatic pistol? Particularly I would be interested in weight and pull difficulty - is it suited for junior shooters? I could not even find a data sheet online, this gun is quite scarce on the web.

Removable modeling putty

Hi all, I am looking for a putty that hardens to some degree but can removed again from the wood. I want to use it for modeling a grip and then having it copy milled into a new grip. After that I would like to remove the putty again without much damage. Is this possible, do you have any suggestions ...

Hi, I have a few question about SUGRU, looks quite innovative to me but..

* Can it be worked on e.g. with a file?
* Does SUGRU produce more a rubber or plastic consistency?
* On the pictures it looks like a thick blob. Can it be evened out to make a seamless conjunction to the wood?
