Hi all,
has anybody tried out a transparent colored front sight yet? I saw them being offered in red, yellow and green. I am curious about your experiences, if any.

Those are quite insteresting ideas, particularly a random pull weight with each shot. However this could only be implemented over mechanical devices, not just a manipulation of the electric circuit. The delay timer was only a mind game from begin with, of course we did not intend to actually impleme...

Delay timer for electronic triggers
Hi all, while joking with a guy the other day I came up with the idea of a delay timer for his electronic trigger, with a configurable delay (e.g. 3 seconds). You could pull the trigger while at the 12 o clock hold, then lower the pistol into the target area and the shot release would be perfectly s...

Kevin,
thanks for that link! I saw that Steyr uploaded many helpful videos which are well worth watching.
Concerning the original post, there is also a short video on replacing the O-rings

Männel grips sizing question
Hi all, what are your experiences concerning Männel grips? I am looking for an alternative to the standard grip for my Steyr LP2. I did some comparing with other grips and found that the standard size M is really quite fine concering the width of my hand, but offers to little volume (evidently I hav...

Having held this pistol in hands, may I ask you what you think the function of the carbon liner is (on the lighter version)? I was wondering why thy did not fasten the front sight directly to the barrel as on the Steyr LP2. Is this only for looks (carbon sounds fancy too) or does it serve a purpose?

Is it OK to tingle with the sear engagement? I do know about mechanics but I am no gunsmith, so basically all I can do is change it bit by bit and check what happens. Would it be OK to proceed like that? In the manual it says that it should not be altered, so I had trusted it to be OK. @scerir Do yo...

Steyr LP2 - adjusting the second stage trigger pull
Hi all, I prefer a rather crisp first stage of around 320-350 gram which means that I need to reduce the second stage pull in order to reach a total trigger pull not too far beyond 500 gram. The problem with my LP2 is that I cannot turn the screw for the second trigger stage out any further. This le...
