Re: contact lens vs shooting glasses

I have learned a lot about contact lenses in the past two months, which may be of interest to some. I have had dry eyes for a while. My tear film "breaks up" in about 5-6 seconds, and the bull turns from round to oblong. (This is with mild astigmatism corrected.) It is worse outdoors, but...

Just to clarify my previous post. The RGP contact is not for correcting my astigmatism per my Rx. Only a sperical correction. The late...

1/4 moa seems to be best for old eyes and SB prone. Also look at the Trijicon TR23-1G with an illuminated green dot, great for really old eyes.

Who would be dumb enough to make sight adjustments when shooting groups? I doubt that they shoot the tests off a bench at Lapua. Any good bulls eye shooter. You not only have to shoot groups, but have to center the group or shade the group to one side or the other to protect for wind conditions. Ed

I can't help with a club in your area but can help with matches in the area. I am in the knoxville area and clubs are hard to find except Oak Ridge. Let me know if you are looking for matches.

Thanks jordan1 and efoleyjr for your feed back. I have been digesting what you have said and that created more questions. Why is it necessary to even adjust the duplex left/right up/down wouldn't that be a duplication of the rear sight functions, seems like something is eluding me? Does the adjusta...
