Re: Iron Sight Offset Blocks

If I use a lens mounted on the sight I can not shoot on the US Dewar team as the brits do not allow them. Are you absolutely sure about that Ed? If you use an Eagle Eye in the foresight and a lens attached to the rearsight then I'd agree - but I don't think that a standard (non-magnifying) foresigh...

Re: Iron Sight Offset Blocks

I also used to shoot in contacts, and had issues with drying eyes, moving contacts, and an inconsistent sight picture. Have you considered a pair of shooting glasses instead of the contact? Or, since you're only shooting NRA prone, you could even mount the lens straight on the gun. Might be easier/...

Re: Iron Sight Offset Blocks

No reason you couldn't shoot well with offset sights - the downside might be if you want to shoot at different distances... Depending on how much cant is required to get your eye behind the offset rearsight it might not be as bad as this (or it might be worse) but if we assume that the sights end u...

Look at the Walther KK300. May be the best of the lot. I am sure the trigger is the best.

Re: New Rifle Buying Tips

I agree with the other posts above; there is nothing that says that you have to have the same rifle between smallbore and air rifle. Having said that, the FWB appears to be a very nice smallbore rifle, although I have not shot one before. There are good shooters who use them (Ryan Anderson comes to...

Re: shooting glass prescription lens (where to go??)

You can call Andy Renfro at Knoxville Optical. Phone is 865-525-9586. Tell him Ed told you to call. He is as good as it gets. You may need to send him a lens to get the size exact as they are never exactly 25mm, 37mm etc.

Re: Sling suggestions..........

Kev,
I had the same thought but only shoot SB now, too old and lazy to shoot HP. Perry is always an issue but we know that ahead of time. Just in case, I ordered a Jensen sling to test out and if it works I will be changing. See you soon.

Re: Sling suggestions..........

Here is a solution to the adjustment pins pulling through the strap. The only problem is you need to have adjusted the sling to it's final resting place. The only adjustment left is the small adjustment screw which is limited. It should not be a problem for shooter who have refined their position to...
