I shot several matches at 50 yards with the Walther GSP-C and Fiocchi .32 wadcutter ammo. About 2 in 10 shots would "knuckleball" and not be on call whatsoever. Worse case scenario for me was still on the scoring rings as a 5, but it was normal to have a couple of 7s or maybe a 6. They als...

I was shooting at the New Jersey State Championship this season, which was the biggest match I had participated in (about 100 entries over 3 weekends). They give a gun away to each class winner, and I was having trouble keeping my anxiety level under control. I switched to a larger dot early in the ...

Unique DES / 32-U

I have a shooting friend who is just getting back in to bullseye shooting after taking about 30 years away from the sport. He has several Unique DES .22 pistols, but has just purchased a used .32 caliber Unique DES / 32-U from a retiring shooter. He is in need of extra magazines for the 32-U. If you...

I have been shooting a Walther GSP-C for my bullseye CF gun over the last few months. At 25 yards, indoors, it is fabulous on the reduced slow-fire target and timed/rapid targets. With the outdoor matches, I have ventured to the 50 yard line with the pistol. Last month, with the stock barrel, I had ...

Walther GSP-C at the 50 yard line

Well, I finally made it outdoors with the Walther GSP-C to see how it would shoot at the 50 yard line. I was using factory Fiocchi 32 S&W long wadcutters. It took me the first 20 shots of slow fire to roughly center the group on the target (had to move the sights up and right about 5 clicks or m...

Hey guys, I was hoping to get the .32 to the 50 yard line by now, but it didn't happen. I had something come up and had to withdraw from the April 2700 I was planning to shoot outdoors. I should be on the line outdoors in 2 weeks, so I'll definitely let you know how it goes. I'm going to shoot the C...

I have the u22 Neos and I was dissapointed with how sloppy it was at 25 feet, much less 25 or 50 yards. I would not encourage anyone to try to shoot bullseye with it, unless there are some easy things to do to tighten it up and accurize it a bit. It is a great handgun for entry level NRA qualificati...

The history channel website also airs the full episode over the internet, but they aren't posted until the following day at some point. I don't get the histroy channel, so I watch each Tuesday's episodes the following Wednesday night on www.history.com.

There is a large bullseye pistol postal match that has been running for many years. They send out target backers and shoot a national match course with the .22. I think they take the top 4 scores of your individuals on the team to form your team aggregrate, and they slot your team in an A,B,C,D,E cl...

I really enjoy shooting bullseye matches, especially outdoors. My wife and 2 boys (8 and 5) travel with me to many of the matches further away (usually when we stay overnight) and they find something fun to do in the city/town while I'm shooting the match. Last year, we went up to Maryland for the I...

Wow...looks like I've found the right forum! Thanks for the quick responses. I've already started to dig through the archives and I'll be able to get a lot of info from past discussions. I guess I need to "slug" the barrel, although I don't know exactly what that means or how to do it yet....

New to Forum ... Anyone have .32 S&W long experience?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I've been shooting for about 2 years steady and really enjoy it. I was wondering if there are some guys on this forum that could help me with some info on starting to shoot and reload the .32 S&W long wadcutter. I've had a high master invest some time and effort i...
