Re: 50 Meter ISSF Shooting
Joel: Yes, however in the USA, USA Shooting will only sponsor an athlete to shoot the 50m Pistol, at the ISSF World Championships every four years. The selection for that is as a dual event. If you win the quota at the 10m Men's Air Pistol selection you can also shoot the 50m Pistol event. My unders...

Rkittine: When I first saw your posting I found it interesting. But because I've have been living as a hermit, due to COVID, I have come down from the hills and have some time to post. First I commend you for marching forward and promoting the shooting sports in Manhattan, New York. But your first c...

Re: Kneeling roll filling material
Came across this post in a search and wondering if anyone has found a supplier for the Plastic Beads and what the cost might be? I'm coaching a Jr. rifle team in the Sacramento, CA area and we have just started our Jr. in 3P and need to fill our kneeling rolls. I did find a local supplier that is wi...

USA Shooting Air Cylinder Policy
Fred: I don't thinks it's a USA Shooting decision, rather an ISSF one. A reference to this issue has been in the rules after the 2008 Beijing Olympics if not before: " 6.2 Safety , 6.2.2.8 It is the shooter's responsibility that any air or Co2 cylinder has been certified as safe and is within t...

On the 17th we had our first NRA air pistol competition. We had a total of 18 competitors, with 15 being juniors. The purpose of the competition was to classify those competitors who don’t have an NRA classification. Those competitors are now classified for the NRA Sectional in March. We would like ...

Inter Air Pistol Shooters, All Are Welcome

Squading, Relays and Shooting Points
There isn’t a rule that prevents having a second level shooting points. The reason for the squading and relays is the second level flooring isn’t as firm as the first floor. Having a championship or a major shooting event would have them at a disadvantage. So to make it fair for all, it would be bes...

I was in a Stockton Wal Mart last Sunday making my rounds for ammo. They had several bulk boxes of Federal HPCJHV. Your Morini should be able to handle it. The supply seems be getting better.

IF YOU DON’T SHOW UP YOU CAN’T WIN!
Dear Fellow Air Pistol Shooters: I’m going to take this opportunity to brag about winning a national title. It may be the only one I’ll ever be able to brag about. I’m currently the 2008 NRA National Open Air Pistol Postal Champion. Well so much for bragging, my reason for this post is to challenge ...
