Re: Accuracy difference between 1907/1913 and 2007/2013 actions???

Hi
2001/2013:
Easy barrel change? Yes
Finicky? yes, If it shoot, leave it as is.
1907/1913
Probably more trustable/safer platform.

Good luck

Re: optics

Interesting. I will have to investigate this thing. Do you have something I could read to understand that?

Re: optics

Well, you described the phenomena very well.

If there is no way to change the lens to compensate for that (magnification or something else) you make me think about changing my shooting glasses frame...

Thanks, Mart

optics

Today I shot ISSF 50M outdoor with contact lenses and right after with shooting glass. It makes me realize that when I use shooting glasses with -4.50 dioptres instead of contact lenses, the target looks smaller. Is it possible to change the lense of my glasses to have the same sight picture? Thanks

Re: POI jumps north

My best guess is NPA not good enought. It is the no1 mistake when shooting at closs range on multi bull target.

After that, up and down impact shift could also be related to tension changes, sling vs cheekpiece, vs butt plate.

All the best, Mart

Re: FWB 601 questions

No I think not, based on the information I got at the time the 601 was THE rifle to have, it is not safe to dry fire with it.

Re: Torben Grimmels sunglasses

Could anybody answer that question about Grimmels sunglasses cause I was under the impression that we can not us it anymore. the explanation I had 10 years ago was because the sunglasses block the eyes/face expression from the camera!!! I know Michel Bury used some at a certain time but it was obvio...

Re: Bolt shim?

I don't know if you could buy it but I have made some in the past from brass sheet and regular scissors. Quite simple as you have an example in hand.

All rifles are different so try H&N, RWS or what ever you have in 4.50 and 4.49 and you should find something to your expectation.

Good luck

If the match is shot according to new ISSF rules, you will have a prep time including sighters, after that the match will start and the time will keep going till the end.

Like women event use ti do.

Time, more time and more more time shooting with it will brings results. It may takes many months to make a new jacket feels like a second skin. Obviously you will have to make small adjustment to your old position, sling or hand-stop set-up. Stay positive, you will learn lots of stuff during the pr...
