Training scores

A competitive shooter in the early 70's with powder burners, 3 pistol, I then did no shooting until 2006, just rifle. Pistol started 2010 with webley nemesis. Bought Izzy 46M january 2011. Doing the NRA Distiguished Expert program now. Just completed the expert level. Had a two month layoff due to i...

Congratulations Shotz

My personal best since starting this last january is only 519, so your
state championship is not in danger for awhile. Maybe next year.

Hyscore Expert Optical Aid

I saw this for $25.00. Four iris sizes, two blinders and sideshields.
Clips on your glasses. Any user opinions on this device?
Looked at a single iris at $18. and an adjustable iris at $58. +
I wear bifocals and want to sharpen front sight.

Wrist mobility

It would seem logical that any wrist exercise would increase wrist
strength and stability. Karate improved my breathing, stability, and
steadiness, posture, strength, recovery, etc. Using the wrist
should help not hinder in most cases.

AP Match

You are right. An earlier posting of a few weeks and at least two of
us from NC probably would have made the match. Still possible but a
real priority problem now. Thanks for the posting. More matchs this
year?

Thanks for the post.

I shoot an IZh 46m and it shoots most pellets well. I use rws basic as cheap practice, but may do some serious testing with others. Good
info from you.

IZZY 46m

Just an amateurs opinion Gerard. You probably have more on the ball than this old duffer. Could the "spark" actually be oil spray in the light/sunlight? I use mac-1 oil on all pivot points , two drops in the cylinder each 500 shots, and one drop in the transfer port each 500 shots. I stand...

Izh mp532

Airguns of Arizona has the rifle listed. I also have been trolling the net to find info. I may buy the rifle in a month or two. A bit expensive but like the pistol it may be a good shooter. I have an Izzy 46m and mine had the air leak problem (now fixed). I hope the rifle is better. Probably a stric...

Golf or shooting

Shooting won. All seasons. Only 5 meters needed. And as many
problems to do well. Now a walk around Field target or silhouette
course for rifle or pistol is as enjoyable for me as any golf course.
To bad we cannot combine the two somehow----or can we???
Par is 5 shots this hole.

Thank You Jack ! And all.

A very good picture. I really did try to look up the rules but lost
it somewhere. Very definitive.
I suppose the board could cause a trip or misfire if standing,
or possibly be a steadyness aid?
Now I know for sure.

10 meter line

10 meters from the target line to the shooters side of the firing line.
If my forward foot is behind this line then my arm will extend forward of the 10m line.
And my normally placed table can also straddle
or be foward of this line. Correct?
Thanks all !

10 meter range

I guess the correct range is ten meters from the tgt face to the firing line,
which has a table behind it so that no part of the extended gun is
closer than 10 meters?

10 meters - from what to what??

Sorry about this basic question, but I have seen a couple variations. The 10 meter PISTOL range is from the face of the target to Where? Toe line ( back edge of the box)? Arm and barrel can cross 10m line. Front of the box which is one meter wide, so the end of the barrel will not cross the line? Ef...

NC shooters

Good Luck with your search. I only know of a couple airgunners
in the state. Airgunning seems about dead here. A place to try out
various guns? Probably only 6 or so in the country. Maybe
Pilkguns could help?? I'm Just a few miles west of hwy 321 between

Mac 1 Izzy 46m Tune. I'm very pleased!!

For those who are researching the Izzy -- Yes I bought one, and it turned out to be one of the few that lost compression occasionally. After getting an ok from Tim at Mac 1, I sent the Izzy for a tune at Mac 1 . He was/is a busy man but the two month turnaround was worth it for the reliability I now...
