Re: Improve the FAS 6004
I would advise against resting the cylinder against anything while driving out the trigger spring pin. Resistive support should be under the frame that houses the spring with something like a 'bench block' or 'jeweler's anvil'. A scrap block of metal and a drill press could easily make a custom fixt...

...I would just put a smear of pellgun oil on the O ring to help lube it as it will not block the transfer port. Try Sil-Glyde https://tinyurl.com/yaysoacb . Put a 'light' smear on a finger pad and then just tap it on the o-ring. Sil-Glyde has better film strength and will last longer than the oil.

Re: TOZ-35M differenes in grading
This is the first time I hear of a grading system for the 35M. Is this an american importer grade?.... It's all marketing bullshit. The reason the TOZ has been sold with an unfinished grip for the last few years is that they ran out of finished ones. That happened because, as I understand it, they ...

Re: Beretta 76 Opinions?
Over the years I've owned just about every .22lr handgun capable of holding the nine ring. Although I still have one because it's fun to shoot and a fine example of engineering art, the 76 does not have a very good trigger. You can score better with a Buckmark, modified Ruger, or Walther Xesse. The ...

Re: New kid on the block
From what I’ve been able to see of the SIG internals, it could be built by the same company that fabricates the FAS for Chiappa. What I find disappointing with the SIG is the grip angle and tall sight. The FAS frame allows a higher hold which lowers the pistol’s CG, sight line, and barrel axis. It’s...

Re: unique des 69 jam-o-matic fix?
If the shell is not backing out, examine the chamber with magnification. Carbon or erosion are possible causes. Carbon can be removed with Hoppes 9 or TriFlow and a .223 bronze brush. If you find neither faults, it's the extractor.

Re: Hammerli 150 ammo?
Fwiw, from my experiences with the 150 and 160, the 150 seemed to have a tighter chamber diameter than the 160. The 150 functioned well with the spendy Euro match-grade ammunition but was otherwise quite finicky. My last adventure with a 150 was about eight years ago and the CCI SV at that time was ...

Yes, the standard TOZ will accept the Rink LH grip.
