Re: triggerstop on FAS 607

I was looking for information on the FAS 607 and whether it has a built-in trigger stop (backlash in...French), and I found out that the grub screw G in front of the trigger blade is the actual TS. I tried it on my FAS 607 and guess what? It is just that. The vertical grub screw F adjusts the take-u...

FAS S.P. 607 or 602 magazine refurbishing for fitting a 6-shot follower

Here is how I refurbished the FAS magazine for fitting a 6-shot follower. The jig and the carpenter's vice helped enormously, as I would not be able to take the mag apart and put it together without them. The jig was made using nails and a screw as well as .22 LR empties that allowed the magazine to...

Re: FAS SP 602 magazine disassembly

Thanks for the tip, JamesH.

I may give it a try as the steel of the magazine seems to allow bending it out of shape and back in the original shape.

Cheers.

Re: FAS SP 602 magazine disassembly

A Bow Opening Plier or Reverse Action Plier may do the job of disassembling the FAS magazines, I'm told.

I wonder if anyone has tried it.

Re: FAS SP 602 magazine disassembly

Thank you Greg.

There is no visible base to be removed, indeed.

FAS SP 602 magazine disassembly

I wish to take apart the FAS SP 602 magazine, for cleaning and changing the follower or the spring, but I am not sure how to proceed. Any pointers? There is a rectangular cross-slot bar located near the base of the magazine, that seems stuck or rusty. How is it dislodged? Pushed through? Thank you f...

Re: Pardini trigger guard and mag well contraption

The shooter must believe it helps him in some way, but does the Pardini really need this sort of add-on for balance, or it serves some other (harmonics, reduced jump when firing, or similarly personal), purpose?

Pardini trigger guard and mag well contraption

I wonder what that contraption is.

Seen mostly amongst PRC shooters.

Re: Steyr wins 9th GOLD medal in a row

It seems that Gold medal at Fort Benning went to WANG Meng Yi (China), shooting a Feinwerkbau P44. Nope, the gold medal went to Wu Jiayu (also from China), shooting a Steyr evo 10 E... It's nice that FWB is back on the air pistol podium taking silver, as first and second place are most often taken ...

Re: Question for Walther SSP Owners

Almost all pistols for issf 25m treat the 5th shot just like the other 4 because when slide stays open after last shot it ruins balance and follow through. In Rapid Fire most shooters shoot a 6th imaginary shot to ensure the 5th shot was executed properly. how old is your SSP? newer ones dont have ...

The shooter is Jeehae Jung from South Korea and all her grips are similarly modified to support the shooting hand's wrist.

Re: Wrist-hugging pistol grip

I agree that it does not look legit. This pic (below) shows what the legit grip and wrist support ought to look like, despite the heavy customization. Source: https://youtu.be/7IXdx13v4mo?t=22m52s That pistol is not gripped in the firing position, therefore is irrelevant. IMHO. It can be later seen...
