Re: SHOOTING JACKET MODIFICATION/ALTERATION
it should be ok; a few years ago at winter airgun, I saw a member of the Nevada team attaching the buttons to a zip tie in order to pass inspection. To be safe, thoroughly check through the rulebook

Re: AHG ANSCHUTZ- JACKET COMPARISON
If I'm not mistaken, I believe the match jacket sold by 10pt9 is the successor to the jacket sold by creedmore. I'm fairly certain that both offer similar support, with the main difference being that the newer jacket is much more "breathable" then the older one.

Re: pistol pellets v rifle pellets
Hello, The only observable difference was the weight. Back when I purchased my first air rifle some time ago, I bought a bunch of different types of pellets to test, including pistol pellets. From my tests, I noticed that the pistol pellets did not group as well as the rifle pellets. Keep in mind, t...

Difference between mid-range suit and high-end suit
Hello, I was wondering, what is the difference in support between a mid-range suit and a high end suit? For those of you that have upgraded, was there a noticeable difference in support or was it about the same? The reason why I ask is that I am considering upgrading to a high end suit as my current...

Re: Wlther anatomic stock question
Hello,
I've briefly held both and can say that the anatomic was noticeably "bulkier" than the aluminum in the rear part of the stock. Some people like it, I personally did not.

Re: Scatt On Windows 10
Hello, Recently, I upgraded my laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and have run SCATT USB without any problems so far. The operating system does not appear to have any effect upon the functionality of the system. On another note, One strange problem I have(and this just may be my model), is that S...

Cutting gloves?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone on here at any experience with cutting the fingers shorter on their gloves, more specifically, the Kurt Thune solid top grip one(the one that isn't a full finger glove). I LOVE this glove for small bore because i get great support, but I want to use it for air rifle ...

Re: Whats your favorite NRA smallbore sling?
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my hybrid sling; I actually use the sporter version of the hybrid sling(i shot sporter in high school) but also have used the hybrid sling for NRA 4-P small-bore as well, with fantastic results(i can send a link to my results with the sling if interested). It will be a personal pre...

Re: Whats your favorite NRA smallbore sling?
I'm with Matt on the Hata sling; they're made by Yuji Hata, a shooter in Hawaii. They're half the price of any of the European slings, and made as well or better. http://www.hataservices.com/precision--smallbore-rifle-slings.html I myself also use a Hata sling and this sling, by far, has the best p...

bizarre observation from world cup changwon 2015
I thought this was an interesting observation(and perhaps something worth copying?) from the mens final yesterday. A left handed Anschutz 7002 Universal sight canted upside-down to allow for pre-aiming. Probably one of the most bizarre solutions I have seen in a while. http://i61.photobucket.com/alb...

Positioning of shooting glasses?
Hello, I was wondering, should the shooting glasses be placed as close to the eye as possible, or as close to the rear iris as possible? The Air Rifle shooting book says to place it as close to the eye as possible(without a clear explanation as to why), but, from what I have observed, a large majori...

Re: 4-P course of fire
I think it depends on what rule book you are using for the match. For NRA 4-P, the usual order is prone, standing, sitting, kneeling.

Re: sight adjusments above 10.5?
I remember reading Heinz Reinkemeier's response to this question somewhere on his facebook page(link below) but his comment stated(and I paraphrase) "one click per shot will randomize the group toward the center" https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1557567894485401&set=vb.100006966159...

Re: FWB 2700 Light stock
If i'm not mistaken, FWB primarily reduces the weight by using the fluted barrel instead of their regular one. As for the stock, I'm fairly certain that the only difference is the shorter(and lighter) block on the bottom.

Re: Glove recommendation for 10m AR
I use the Champions Choice fingerless glove for both Smallbore and Highpower. I get a new one every 3-4 years, because it starts to stink from the sweat (not because it broke) I used to have the same issue with my glove, then I started using a glove liner. If you use a glove liner, you can prolong ...

Where to buy Anschutz stop nut?
Hello, As the title implies, I was wondering where I could purchase an anschutz stop nut(for 8002 alu). It's the threaded washer-like part that adjust the cheekpiece height and buttplate length of pull. Iv'e tried searching around, but I can't find a seller that sells that part by itself. thanks! -J...
