I only have one thing to say about dry firing a Marvel.
Absolutely no way, no nada ain't happening.
Go to Brownells and buy some 22 caliber snap caps. You will be much better off doing that then dry firing the Marvel

Marvel Magazines
I have been using the poly mags for over a year with no malfunctions whatsoever. As a matter of fact I only shoot with one guy who uses the metal magazines, the rest use poly. I just bought another Marvel with iron sights and I got poly mags for that also.

I use one with a dot. The increased lenght also adds a little weight to the gun which I like. Other than that ditto on what you guys said.

While the MCP pistols might be very good neither of the "gunsmiths" (can I REALLY call a Chiropractor a gunsmith?) have proven themselves yet. You're quite right, I'm sure. Only after Brian Zins wins several more National Championships would I be confident shooting an MCP product <G> Rich...
