Automatic discharge claimed in 10M
One for the rule book jockeys. Midway through a 10 metre club event an athlete claimed the air rifle fired when she closed the cocking lever. The shot hit the target outside the scoring rings and was registered on the EST. The RO asked the athlete to check if the problem could be replicated. The fir...

Re: Morini 200ei default grip question
There is no grip swivel on the Morini (as the MatchGun has for example). A viable option is the 7 degree offset Rink which my ex used.

Pardini SP Broken Slide Retaining Spring
HI all, we have an early model SP (Serial B88***) in our club armoury which appears to have a broken slide stop spring (#720) as the plunger (#719) moves freely. The assembly is held in with a pin (#718), located behind the plug (#703E). Its difficult to see how the spring can break, has anyone seen...

Pardini SP22 grip
Hi, I have the opportunity to obtain a grip for above however it is an electronic trigger version whereas the club pistol here has a mechanical trigger. I can't see any comments about compatibility anywhere so I assume the "e" version will fit the "m" firearm. Unfortunately the g...

While there are no rules that explicitly state that footwear must be worn, the rules cannot and do not state everything. There are implicit meanings. Rule 9.9.1.2 Sneakers, sandals or any other similar footwear without a strap or full support at the heel, without a medical certificate are not allowe...

Hi John, No offence intended nor have I missed the point. Its interesting the way threads drift off the original post. The points I wanted to make was the great benefit of that little trick with the dremmel in the earlier post on some triggers and it is the shooter not the EC officer who has problem...

When is recoil felt?
Is recoil in the form of muzzle displacement from the original state noticed as the projectile leaves the barrel (or shortly after it does) i.e having no effect on the trajectory or is it progressively felt as the projectile accelerates down the barrel? Years ago a rifle shooter told me it was the l...
