I bought a 480 shortly after it was released. The reliability was great as was the accuracy in a rest. Unfortunately I believe that the 480s have a design flaw. I've looked at a half dozen over the years and on every one the component that serves as a mount for the front of the air tank and as a mou...

TOZ fix
I did much the same thing. I opted to send my TOZ to Greg Derr a well regarded TOZ specialist. He fixed the problem quickly and at a reasonable price. His URL is http://www.derrprecision.com/ Larry Carter has wall sized exploded diagrams of TOZ35s which are a help. Please post any info that you find...

162 problem
A couple years ago I spoke to Scott Pilkington about making the conversion. I think he felt that it could be done. He was going to talk to a former Hammerli gunsmith for me but I never pursued the option. Be careful with the solenoid on the 162. Even a hint of oil can cause a misfire - very frustrat...

Uwe Potteck
I transferred the VHS version with English narration to DVD and sent it to our host Scott about 10 weeks ago.
I'm curious to hear from him if the video quality of the version that I sent him is better or worse that the VHS copy that Bob LeDoux sent him.
Regards
Steve

Hammerli 480K leak
To install the O ring there is a conical tool that allows you to slip it over the end of the tank. I've never tried with the other tanks

480K Air Pistol
Years ago I had the black part (pressure indicator) that you mentioned, completely fall out of the gun. Before Hammerli folded (about 2003) I sent it back to them. They converted the gas system of the 480K to an AP40 system including installing an AP40 junior tank with built in manometer. The differ...

Video
That is indeed the best training video I've ever seen too. There is a version of it with English narration in VHS format that an International coach from Oregon was selling in the mid 90's. I think it was produced in the UK. I've searched for a DVD version and have not found it...

At work I have about 30 storm cases including IM3100, IM3300 and others. We ship them frequently all over the world using FedEx, UPS, trucking companies and as checked baggage on airlines. The reasons we have settled on the Storm cases are: - Warranty is solid - we have had the wheels ripped off a c...

Ear plugs
I suggest the EAR push in plugs ( 318-1001). They are available with or without the cord. They give good noise attenuation and are great if you need to take them on and off between relays or to talk to a guest.
