proper loading of a 1911 BE pistol

I tried this on my Les Baer pistol and the hammer follows the slide. I also tried this on my old 1980's Clark BE pistol and the hammer stays back. ...

test driving a IZH-1

Hello all, I am a novice Free Pistol shooter and I am "test driving" a IZH-1 pistol. The pistol is in great shape and appears to have been shot very little. I have run approx 100 shots thru it but it seems to want to "miss-fire" about every 5th shot. I load it as normal push up o...

New to bullseye

Start with a good 22 lr pistol. S&W41, Ruger competition model with trigger job. That will get you started on the basics, grip, trigger control ,sight alignment. The just have fun and don't get discouraged. This game takes time.

dry firing the marvel conversion

I have just purchased a conversion kit from a good friend. It is mounted on a Rock River frame and shoots very well. I want to practice dry firing it but I am concerned about damage. The manual says dry firing can be done but not on a "regular" basis. If I use a saftey cap will that help? ...
