Any views on Lapua Pistol King and Eley Tenex ? I am only asking for use in competitions for the FP ! Pardon my asking, but here in India, we don't have much choice except 3-4 brands - Lapua SK Magazine, Lapua Pistol King, Lapua Midas M, and Eley Tenex. These are available only for match practice in...

Morini Free Pistol CM-84E : Two Stage vs Hair Trigger
Hi guys, Have been wondering whether a Two Stage trigger is better than the Hair Trigger in the Free Pistol Competitions ! A person using the Morini AP is much used to the the 2-stage trigger system and when he competes in the Free Pistol event, he would be at an advantage with the same firing mecha...

I made the mistake of repeated cancelling, during my match yesterday, and nearly ran out of time. The last shot was taken in the last minute !! I learned : You tire yourself much more by repeated cancelling... although 2-3 times maybe ok on occasional shots. You also lose confidence in your ability,...

My analysis is that since nearly all shots are below the horizon like (that's the imaginary horizontal line across the Bull), most probably the front sight is dipping, i.e. not remaining level with the rear sight, just before the shot is taken. If you can specify approx. how many seconds you normall...

Hi guys, I'm back after a 'break', during which I did some serious shooting, and successfully so, as I became a double Renowned Shooter at the National level in the 10m AP and 50m FP events. Also picked up a Silver Medal at the State level and a Bronze Medal at the North Zone level. Looking forward ...

I have tried to give the Cheap Pellets a good wash with a detergent, followed by mild lubrication (putting a few drops of oil on a piece of cloth and gently 'rolling' over the pellets, a hundred or so at a time; in the hope of improving their accuracy and preventing fowling of the barrel, due to unw...

Hi, I am a shooting enthusiast from New Delhi, India. Although I knew about Target Talk much earlier, I just got pushed into registering by my friend Dev, who is a older member here. Well, I shoot competitions with my Morini 162 EL under the 10m ISSF category. Shooting scores are around 87-92 % at t...
