I used that in my spread sheet. 2nd& 3rd would have swapped from the way 4H did the numbers.

I have been cranking the numbers in air. Not sure what I found. Using total points really changes the order. I an not sure using total points is fair. In air rifle the shooters shoot a 3x20 3P (600pts), 40 shot standing (400pts), 40 shot silhouette (40pts). If everyday was worth the same points, usi...

Can someone explain how the scoring system hurts or helps the shooters?
Can you show the math or show an example of a shooter's raw score placing higher or lower than the %? I need a definable position.

Any body out there have a photo of it in use? Is designed to be used shoulder fired on a bench, or is the trigger the only part of the rifle touched when using it?

kurt thune ammo tester

Our club has one, but no instructions. If you have the instructions could you share the proper set up and use? It look pretty straight forward. Should the rifle balance in it? How should it be mounted to the bench? etc.
Thanks

888 co2 cylinder

Just bought some used co2 cyl. for a 888. the fittings, at the burst disc end, have 2 set screws holding them in. Are these set screws factory? The other cylinders we have do not have theses screws.
Thanks

My son is new to shooting sports as well. You will find a ton of information hunting a round on this site. One pace I found a lot of useful is www.vc4hss.com/ The coach there post here on target talk and is always helpful.

Anniston CMP is a nice range, 40 points on each side of the building, .... ... It's not a "big meet", it's just a different one ~ . The ranges my son shoots at have at the most 12 firing points with 3 relays. I think, at Anniston, it could be easy to get lost in the shuffle, and that is w...

NRA air at Anniston

My son is planning on shooting in Anniston for the NRA event in June. What should we expect? Shooter count, scores, etc. What should we take, other than his shooting gear? Are there chairs for spectators? Is food available, or should we bring our lunch with us? What about the swap thing? What do the...

Thanks When I said flex it may not be the correct term I was thinking about. I am really thinking about the harmonics of the barrel. A pellet gun doesn’t vibrate as much as firearm, but clamping something on the barrel would change the rate of this vibration. Would a weight clamped on the cause inco...

Barrel weight (extra)

When is a extra Barrel weight needed? How does it affect the barrel? Can it cause the barrel to flex?
Where should the center of balance be?
What I am looking for is a more stedy hold in standing. This would be on a Dasiy sporter.
Thank you

I just bought a new sight. The seller claimed it was from a xv40. It has the embossed mark on the sight. It seams tight and not much plastic. I just wanted to make sure it was the sight we are aloud to use.

My son was given a CC 542 spotting scope! Now we need to get a stand. Price is a big factor. Any suggestions? How about plans to make one? Or scaled photos of a head. The pole and base are a no brainier.
