Re: An expensive exercise
The instruction book that came with my FWB P34 says the cylinders have to be returned to the manufacturer every five years for testing. I shudder to think what the cost would be to ship two cylinders from Australia to Germany, have FWB test them and then ship them back. it would probably be cheaper...

Re: Is there a place to shoot near Wilmette, IL?
This is the closest place to shoot .177 cal Olympic style airguns:
http://www.aiac-airguns.org/index.html
The club is located in Arlington Heights, IL. I belong to that club and I live in Wilmette as well.

Re: .32 Gsp or a Benelli
I shoot the Benelli MP-90 (World Cup version) in .32 and its a fine gun. Larry Carter has given me good service on it. You might also want to consider the Pardini HP in .32 as I think that gun is probably even better than my Benelli. Again for the $500 (new) price difference betwen the Benelli and P...

I believe Don has been out of town for the last few weeks. He hasn't been at the local range here in Arlington Heights. He is supposed to be back shortly. Be patient. He does excellent work.

Re: Morini 162 EI short cylinders - how much do they weigh?
And in fact, using the formula that edster99 posted, you would get:
0.001205 kg/l * 200 bar * .06 liters = .01446 kg or about 14 grams.
The volume on my Morini short cylinder is clearly labeled .06 liters.

Re: Morini 162 EI short cylinders - how much do they weigh?
Yes, I see the winks, but in all seriousness I think most of you are mistaken if you think a full AP cylinder has almost no weight difference over an empty AP cylinder. Yes it is air, but it's highly compressed air. The Morini short cylinder holds enough compressed air to weigh about 7 grams heavier...

Re: Benelli MP 90S 32 cal
.32 cal S&W Long WadCutter ammo is what you need for the Benelli MP90S. Note: round nose ammo will NOT work in this gun! Centerfire ammo is expensive. If money is no object then you might want to try Lapua .32 S&W LWC, 98grains -- it goes for around $28/box of 50 rounds, $560/case of 1000 ro...

Re: Benelli MP90
I shoot a Benelli MP90S World Cup, .32 caliber, for the ISSF Centerfire match. Its a fantastic gun. Larry Carter is the Benelli dealer for the USA and has a full selection of the Benelli's standard and centerfire pistols. Lots of parts available from Larry's as well. The gun is very simple to strip ...

Re: Metric O-ring availability
Thanks pgfaini. I didn't get a chance to try MSC until now, but when I did using the info in your posts, they wanted 8.05+9.23(s/h)+1.08(tax?)=$18.36, so that was a little steep for 10 o-rings. Thanks also to FredB and Fred Mannis for useful posts as well. In the end, it was pointed out to me that N...

Re: Metric O-ring availability
Harbor Freight Tools did indeed have a boxed metric o-ring set for $8, with 397 metric O-rings. Unfortunately the size I needed in their notation was a P13, and of course the kit only had P12 and P14 sized O-rings included. I didn't even bother calling Pilkguns as the size O-ring (as I previously st...

Metric O-rings availability ?
Does anyone have a location for buying metric O-rings for AP's? Specifically I need the metric O-ring that goes on the brass fill adapter of an MG-1 AP. I believe the measured sizes for the O-ring I need are: OD 18mm, ID 13mm, Thickness 2.4mm. I've tried Lowes, Menards, Home Depot and none of them c...

Re: Hill Mk2 high pressure hand pump
Surely you are mistaken about the number of strokes to "fill" a 300 Bar cylinder with a Hill Pump. A Hill Pump is only rated to a max fill of 230 Bar, see their webpage at: http://www.airriflepump.com//html/product.asp?id=2214 Most people try to be safer with the Hill Pump and only fill to...

MG-2 dealer in the USA
The last bit of info that I had heard from Mrs. Nygord was that Neal Stepp (ISS) Fort Worth, TX is or will be the new Matchgun dealer in the USA. 817-595-2090. Mrs. Nygord also told me that she sent her remaining MG1 and MG2 spare parts to Larry Carter in Maine. The Matchgun dealer in Canada is Illi...

Re: AP Cases
Here in the USA, both Pelican and Storm Cases are available at the same prices for similar sized cases, if you shop online. I've been eyeing both pelican and storm cases for carrying two AP's with extra gear. The Pelican 1520 is of the same size as the Storm Case 2400. Both can be bought for around ...

If you're located in the USA, you can try www.midwayusa.com. They sell Lapua, Remington and Starline .32 S&W Long brass at reasonable prices. They've given me great service in the past. Usual disclaimers apply, I'm not affiliated with them in any way, etc.

Re: TAU-7 repair?
My Tau-7 had the same problem and I easily repaired it by swapping out the O-ring that is nearest to the CO2 chamber in the top of the grip. The Tau-7 easily disassembles if you follow the instructions and the parts diagram in the manual. If it is the O-ring nearest the CO2 chamber in the top of the...

Re: Gehmann air pistols
If you are referring to the AP's listed on http://www.gehmann.com/english_final/airpistols.php
then the G100 appears to be a rebranded SAM K15. The F4000 is really a rebranded FAS 609. The other AP's on that page are all clearly marked as either Steyr, FWB, Walther, Rohm, or Hammerli.
