New to Air Rifle - Need scope suggestion for Beeman R1

Hello all, I recently purchased an early BEEMAN R1 and the previous owner has a very inexpensive TASCO rifle scope mounted which has failed badly. I am told an air-rifle specific scope is required to function properly and I am looking to purchase such a scope. Would appreciate the names/models of an...

.22 Short Rapid Fire - Which has the better reputation?

I own two .22 rapid fire pistols and wanted to ask the opinion on this board as to which has the better reputation for accuracy, reliability, etc.?

I realize these are no longer used in competition but they are a hoot to shoot.

One is the Walther OSP the other the Pardini GPO

Thanks in advance.

Re: Which model Hammerli Free-Pistol is this???

Thanks a bunch Jim!
I posted this Hammerli on GunBroker last night, so I updated the information to include what you have provided me with.
This was owned by a good friend of mine, and although it's a nice piece, it's not quite like my Morini!!

Re: Which model Hammerli Free-Pistol is this???

Thank you Jim for the info.
Would an early Model 104 have been built prior to 1965??
Just curious because when I can send it to a C&R license holder if it qualifies when I list it for sale.

Re: Which model Hammerli Free-Pistol is this???

The serial number is 30100 if that makes the ID process easier.

.32 WC load data?? Please list your favorite load.....

I have recently acquired a Benelli M95e .32 WC and I am about to begin loading for it.

Anyone care to post their favorite pet load? I have some Hornady HBWC bullets ready to go.

Regards,
Tom

Ejector

Well, I am still having issues and I believe now that there is an issue with the ejector itself. I spoke with Buck at Pilkguns today and he tells me that this is a common problem ususally caused by dirt/gunk that gets built up in the ejector channel. I am not sure how to safely remove the ejector as...

Results from the range

OK....so with a completely clean pistol I went to the range for some testing with the Wolf Match Target 22LR. First round ejected as it should......so did then second.....then back to the non ejection issue. If I brushed out the chamber, I could get one or two more to eject. With careful inspection ...

Ejector

I looked closely as I opened the action after each shot and did not notice the ejector "passing" by the case rim. It just did not seem to "snap" the empties out. The Wolf Match Target seems to be lower velocity than the Federal Gold Medal, but I just can't imagine that would be o...

CM84E shell ejection problems - What to do?

I have been trying out several brands of ammo with my CM84E free pistol lately and I have a question for those who are familiar with this pistol. The Wolf Match Target ammo is great stuff for accuracy, but I just can't get it to eject reliably. If I am shooting other ammo, such as Federal Gold Medal...

CPM-1 Trigger adjustment?

I have attached a scan from the manual, but I am not clear on which of the adjustment screws will lighten the overall trigger pull on the CPM-1??

I am thinking it is screw "B"

Can anyone confirm?

Cleaning

Thank you for the post and the info. I am thinking that if there are NO cleaning/lubrication instructions give, that it must not be an issue of great concern. I know you have to be VERY careful with seals, etc and that solvents would most likely do damage. Say, if you ever decide to sell your CPM-1,...

Walther CPM-1 cleaning/lubrication procedure??

Recently aquired a gorgeous condition CMP-1 Co2 pistol.

The manual is OK, but contains zero information on cleaning and lubrication.

Anyone out there have documentation or can share the proper method would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Weight?

I am thinking you have some serious lead build up going on there. I just aquired a CM84E recently that had not been cleaned properly and had a similar issue. Try soaking the area in a solvent that works on lead.....I used Shooters Choice and was able to gradually get the part off. I had to head up t...

Is this designed to be fully extended or can the position of the compensator itself be changed using the different screw hole locations??

Muzzle brake position on CM84E??

Anyone out there know what type of "muzzle brake" this is? Not sure if that is the proper term for the part?? It appears to have 3 possible positions but I am not clear as to what the affect would be in each position. Was not sure if the holes are for relocation of the part itself, relocat...
