Re: You wanna buy WHAT?
Already bought, Pardini K58. No tanks, hoses, pumps, cylinders out of date issues. Just get a rhythm going, Pump, load, inhale, aim, exhale, shoot. Repeat 100X for practice and your set for a 60 shot match and warm up shots. FWIW

Just remember that the safety line needs to go through the breach out through and exposed out the barrel.

Re: Pistol modifications middle of the competition
I also can´t find anything not allowing it. If sight adjustments can be make during a Match, why can´t weights be removed. Same would hold true for lightening the trigger during the match. If you pass EC you cant/better not decrease the trigger during the match lower than the legal minimum. If you ...

Re: If I read correctly H.R.1808 The Assault Weapons Ban, also makes many Standard/Sport Target Pistols Illegal
I dread the day when at a Hi Power match or any HP rifle/pistol competition (any state) and the ATF, State Police and local LEOs show up to "inspect, confiscate and arrest" persons in possession of said forth "assault weapons", high capacity magazines etc. Shooting competitions m...

Re: Long Shot Seeking Lower Only M41
I new I could count on Rover to offer 2 cents. Yes I considered that. Sell the 5 1/2 in. barrel and buy a another complete gun. I like the accuracy and pedigree (age) of the 5 1/2. It has KNOWN quality results for me. What I might get in return could be a DOG.
Risk versus reward and all that.

but an alternative is to just set up a pellet trap and shoot paper targets. This doesn't necessarily mean low tech though. My system consists of a pellet trap, projector tripod on wheels to get the trap at correct height, clip on LED light to shine on the target, and a Wyze camera/app also on a sec...

Latest on AP paper targets?
Finally near the end of my ancient Edelmann UIT AP targets (don't laugh). They mic out at .015, Great paper/card/tag whatever. No issue with small clusters of 5 shots when and if I get any. What the deal with Krugers current availability? I went to Krales site. Might be a bargain at that price plus ...

Re: uncalled rules violations??
Pekler looks like he is resting. NOT in the process of shooting in the screen grab. The Indian shooters nose bridge looks like it is touching the rifle.

Re: uncalled rules violations??
I tend to think that it is “no protest = no violation.” Squeaky wheel get the grease. Other team managers need to watch the feed live or scope out the other teams shooters. THEY are not doing their jobs. Just sitting back and only being concerned with their own shooters is not what they are there f...

10 and a 9. The 9 due to rough edge at the dot. 10 has clean edge at the dot IMHO.

Re: You rifle shooters have my respect!
Ah the memories. Was a 3P collegiate shooter in the middle 70s.A local club (Rochester (NY) Rifle Club) was in a 4 position league. Sitting was tough as I never bent that way before. A club member had a Walther LGR. I shot it several times and loved it. Albeit I was at my peak competing at 50ft. The...

Re: Pardini K58 rear site.
PJ,
Looks like I have to remove the grip to get to the rear sight screws for removal.
Will have to contact Pilk or Pardini to get the right spring I guess.

Pardini K58 rear site.
Should the armature that holds the rear sight blade to the adjusting portion of the sight be held firmly?
On my K58 the armature with rear blade can be lifted with a finger but then falls back down under its own weight.
Hopefully I explained that sufficiently.

Hmmm did Russia pressure/influence ISSF and then ISSF pressure/influence USAS to "remove/crash" the image/post?

Which SSP are you talking about? I have Pardini K58 and was informed to only lube the armature area very very lightly and not the O-rings in the loading port. And NEVER the trigger mech. YMMV

Re: Update Regarding the 2022 National Pistol Junior Olympics Championships
Its the US Olympic and Paralympic Committee conditions. So USA Shooting might be better to cut ties to them AND find another location. Whos to say the same conditions would not apply to the "new" location if USAS stays with US Olympic and Paralympic affiliations. Its kinda sad overall blam...
