Prone Shooting Mats

I am considering getting my own mat and looking at either the ESE or AHG Anschutz, as both are said to be ISSF compliant & waterproof. I like the look of the AHG as it is lighter to carry, but are these good ones to consider and how do they compare with each other. Alternatively what others are ...

Re: Morini CM84E .22 LBP

That is correct unfortunately we are disadvantaged in the UK when competing in the Olympics as we have to use the Long Barrelled version of this pistol.

Thanks David, tried him but he has none in stock at the moment, and would ideally like to swop with existing medium.

Morini CM84E .22 LBP

Does anybody know where I can get hold of a small right hand grip for this pistol? I have a medium right hand that I could swop if required.

Shooting Books

I am not sure whether this is the correct place for this posting, but I have some books that I will be selling and needed to get an idea of a fair asking price as I know they are often difficult to find. The books are: Pistol Shooting by Hans Standl Successful Pistol Shooting by Frank & Paul Lea...

Tim Thanks for the advice, it has been suggested that I consider the 1907/1913 action with an adjustable stock. I am considering two options at the moment at either end of the scale: 1. 1913 with an adjustable aluminium stock c/w "specialist" sights 2. Match 54 with wood Supermatch stock c...

Anschutz .22 Rifle Choice

I am venturing into shooting rifles whilst continuing with pistols and Air Rifle, and would be grateful for advice about suitable s/h models to consider for prone and 3P, (including type of stocks)?

I am in the UK and an indication of likely prices would be helpful as well.

Yes I am in the UK and covered by the restrictions. How do you find the Pardini? Do you have the FPM or FPE version? Any views on how the Pardini compares to the Morini? Any idea where I could look for a free pistol?

.22 Free Pistol Choice & Recommendations

I want to get a .22 free pistol in a medium RH grip and would be grateful for some guidance on models available together with pros & cons. Currently I am waiting for my FAC to enable purchase of a .22 LBP, so if anyone has any for sale I would be interested in finding out more.
