The foam padding is very flat and the stock if very finicky about torque setting. Just wondering if anyone has ever glass bedded this stock for a perfect molded fit?
Any other successful mods I'd like to hear about too.
Thanks,
Tenring

Sauer prone coat vs. the Thune prone coat.
Just wondering if anyone has seen each and can say anything about either of them?

New Rifle Setup....
Good Question. This process helped me. Not real scientific though. Just having a starting point is key...Then mainly trial and error. Lots of it! 1. Starting point...hold rifle upright. place hand on grip with trigger finger in place. set butt in crook of the elbow. adjust buttplate to fit snug into...

Proper Cant..??
Hi Adrian, I had the same exact problem you are describing. I'm suspecting your stock had the deep fore-end? If so, mine did too (1810 stock). Very good, but slightly less suitable for prone shooting. I discovered I was trying to have the handstop out too far. When I shortened it and made the sling ...

Hi John, You have asked a very good question. One that I asked a fellow recently. The answer I got was due to the tension of the sling and angle of the arms the trace most likely wouldn't be perfectly vertical. I'm not sure what all you have done to tweek your position, but it's very critical to pro...

Prone only jackets???
I only shoot prone. Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the jackets made for the prone position.

I found a used cordura hardback and gave it a try. I didn't like it. I think next time I'd go Leather or leather/cordura combo. The sleeve around my left bicep of the cordura coat was extremely tight. I tried a friends leather coat and didn't seem so bad. One issue I might have been dealing with was...

I sure would. But I'd be concerned about the loading port too. I'd hate to have a nice new action with the loading port of the 40X. Yuck! Id like to see and feel the triggers too. I have a Jewel on my 40X I use for benchrest and it good for that, but I have gotten use to my Anschutz two-stage for po...

Hi Eric, I have recently gone through the same ordeal as you. I've been shooting prone for a little better than a year now and have discovered you never know exactly what is going to give you the most crisp picture on any given condition. Sometimes a color, sometimes polarization, sometimes both. I ...

Shooting Coat Recommendations Opinions Wanted..
Hi Fellow Shooters, My primary shooting discipline is NRA smallbore. Im in the market for a good shooting coat. I have several friends that shoot in the leather Creedmoor Hardbacks and they of course recommend them highly. I actually purchased a used cordura hardback on ebay for a price that if I di...

Anschutz 2213 bedding material????
Just wondering if anyone ever had issue's with this bedding material. I recently aquired a used 2213 stock and was using a wood stock before that never gave me a lick of trouble getting the torque to a good tight group setting. If anyone has any experience with this and some advise how to make it be...

Bottom up. When I take a breath the sights move down off the target. As you exhale the sights come back up. That's how I check my NPOA too. I close my eyes as I take a breath and towards the end of my breath i open my eyes and see if i'm on target. Not sure if that is correct, but that is what I hav...

G&E Stocks???
How many G&E users here, What do you have to say about their stocks compared to others? Are the adapter blocks a setback to the stock if using a round 54 action?
