In my opinion, unless you like fixing and tinkering...save the time and frustration. I tried to do it in a similar way and had success, but was limited by funds. I was patient and found good deals on stuff and tried to make them work, but in the end it was a try to trade up to better working stuff e...

What are you going to do with it? Bench or Prone. Your only going to get opinions on barrel length so what your doing with it will help get the right help.

Well the used barreled action is worth no more than about $1200.

The used stock is worth no more than about $900. But the 1813 is getting harder and harder to find. If its in pristine shape. If not maybe less???

Sights???

Both round and square Anschutz actions are great. 2013 has the advantage of ease of drop in barrels. Also is longer on the front of the action for scope mounting. The square action is supposed to be more rigid??? Research the square action in the wood stock. Very difficult to bed. Call Larry at 10po...

Looking for some Thune belt material...

Hi. I'm looking for some Thune belt material to repair about a 16in. portion of my MEC sling that attaches to the handstop. If anyone has some or something similar or has some good ideas. Please let me know.. I've tried leather, but the leather I found is kinda stretchy. I thought about dog coller m...

Made a discovery. Makes perfect sense. Working from a right triangle setup here. barrel, sensor...and target. Barrel is straight, sensor has a fixed angle, and distance to the target if course is variable. At only one specific distance would we make a perfect right triangle where the sensor and barr...

I'm setup the same way. I can reach everything easily. When I shoot another calibration shot. It's always in the same exact spot.

Yes prone on hard laminate satin finish floor. I'm shooting down a hallway. First part of flooring is tile in the kitchen. No windows. Target is over a return air duct so it would only be a cool air flow. I did a test though with it on a rest and got consistent results. easily stayed in ten ring. It...

I'm really liking this machine. Especially how it sounds it should work. But I just wish I could get it to be consistent for me. I still don't feel like Its working right. I shoot a calibration shot in the circle, shoot three sighters to see if they are consistently in the same area. If so, I'll dra...

Wow how time go's by messing with this thing. I tinkered with it for 2-3 hours this afternoon and got nowhere and now another hour this evening. I got somewhere this time. Maybe I'm learning just how sensitive this thing is? This test session I tested around 16-18 ft. The calibration shot is closer ...

Cant get the Scatt to Calibrate either???

I've read all the post regarding getting it calibrated here. I have the USB model and tried moving the sensor on the barrel, forwared, back, side. Stepped off Im a good 11 yards. But when I shoot the calibration shot is usually says 9.5meters. ??? I have hardwood floors and tried rug in front of tar...

Also in regards to 6,7,8 Nm of torque. I believe Guy uses an aluminum stock. Know that torque settings above 5Nm with naked wood could cause damage.

Broken Electronic Trainer parts????

Wondering if anyone has any parts laying around they have no use for? Scatt, Rika, Noptel, Curt.... Doesn't matter really. I have a project going and just digging for what might work.

Thanks,

Nice looking new gear!

Hi Everyone, www.sport-shooting.com I have not downloaded this new app yet, but it looks like it could be worthy to our sport. I downloaded a different one some time ago and it really didn't work too well. This one looks like a much better one. Has anyone here tried out this new tuner tube? Thanks, ...
