Gehmann hand pump repair
My handpump has stopped working. I loaned it to a friend and it was working fine, even worked when i got it back. My tank is getting low and i was using it to top off the cylinders. What it was doing was compressing air on the upstroke which doesnt allow you to pull the handle up. I cant get it apar...

Re: looking for old article
Thats the one I was thinking about! Thank you! The reason I was trying to find that info was because in a couple of different places new to bullseye shooters were asking about how to get the absolute best most accurate ammo for their .45's. I guess a lot of shooters go through this but it seems like...

looking for old article
I remember an old article I saw on this site. It was about I believe an American free pistol shooter that either set a world record or American record. Afterwards they tested his gun with the ammo he used along with other ammo and found that the ammo he used was the worst grouping ammo they tested. ...

Re: Caution!! ADD at work!!
uhm... if you did that for 3.5 hrs where's the deficit in attention?! Procrastination on the other hand I can see. Never do today what you can put off til tomorrow.

I don't think he's trying to change anyones ways. I also don't think that we should have to appologize to anyone for enjoying the perfectly legal sport that we do just because some people find guns repulsive. Personally I find basketball and soccer repulsive but I don't think less of people who do l...

Increasing sear engagement didn't seem to help much. For a while I had it working real good but then it didn't reset once and now it's back to having to cycle it quickly to get it to work. For some reason a longer striker spring seemed to help. the grips are stock, and i had to remove some wood to h...

Toz question
We had the international sectional today and the buddy I sold my Toz 35 to was having problems. He made it through about 5 shots and had to switch pistols because the Toz just wasn't functioning. I brought it home and was going to give it to a gunsmith but I thought I would take the grips off and ha...

These were shot with RWS Basic (10 shot groups) out of my LP10. My gun didn't like the Hobby's so I stick with the Basic's. The top group is skirts that I squeezed between my thumb and finger as much as I could and loaded. The bottom group is not just a scratch but about a 1/32 notch I cut out of th...

If you are going for distinguished that means open sights. Personally I would dry fire as close to a wall as possible with a dot on it. This trains your eye to focus on the front sight. As far as how many shots: as many as you can give your full focus to. If its only five or ten at first then do tha...

And that's another quibble with your reporting; Hobby pellets are one grade below Basic, or at least they appear to be in my examination of the quality of finish and consistency. Hobby would be the lowest RWS grade with Basic considerably more refined in appearance and consistency. Not that it make...

If you are enjoying yourself while shooting does it really matter how good you are? As long as you are safe on the range and stop crossfiring nobody else cares about your scores either. Everybody has different expectations, goals, abilities, learning curvr, etc. If you feel that you are improving an...

He helped a friend with an Aeron pistol and was reportedly excellent to deal with.

If the front sight and the target are both in focus at the same time how would you ever know which one you truly are focused on? For me I can only get one or the other in focus at a time. When the front sight goes out of focus and the target comes in that is my sign to put the gun down and start ove...
