I could be wrong but I am betting way more people get killed with golf clubs every year than Steyr LP-10's, Morini 162's etc. but yet they incourage kids to use such deadly weapons.

Thanks for all the info guys. My bullseye is from 1994 and I tried the 200's with the same 3.8gr. load and it seemed to work.

Bill, are you not shooting the last Arnold match next Friday? If not I will see you at Highland in October for the first International match. Scott

200 gr .45 load

I have been shooting 185gr SWCHP from Precision Delta with acceptable results. I don't have a ransom rest but shots go where I expect them to be. My 50yd slow fire scores are typically low to mid 90's so I felt that they had to shoot fairly decent. I know I should RR or sand bag and do hours and hou...

I just looked at the exploded view at Pilkingtons web site and what I thought was a reset button is a fuse cover. It appears to be blown so I will get a new one and that should take care of it. Thanks Scott

I took the strings off, took the plug apart to check connections, tried different outlet, took the bottom panel off to check connections inside and everything seems ok. There appears to be a reset button on the back but pushing it didn't do anything either. Any other suggestions would be greatly app...

RIKA World Champion

Went down to shoot tonight and my RIKA target return is not working. Checked and I have power, all conections are good, the motor turns freely and everything seems ok but it doesn't work. Any suggestions on what to check? Scott

match shooting

I have read lately several people say that they weren't going to shoot matches until they were better or can shoot certain scores. I would like to invite, urge and suggest to all shooters that aren't shooting matches to get out there and shoot! Our sport needs you no matter what score you are capabl...

Here is my range set up. I have 10m to the shooting point with room behind me for my desk. Eventually this is going to be my "man cave" with my reloading stuff, safe and desk for working on guns and also my business office.

Dev, The allen key should have came in the set of tools when you got your pistol. Make sure to tighten the set screw tight enough when you are happy with the setting because it needs to be pretty tight to squeeze the split ring enough to keep the screw from changing position. If you were shooting th...

ND, Brian is right about them not mattering from a technical view but the can from a mental one (and also read the thread that he posted). If you think they are keeping you from shooting 560 then they are. If you think your gun is a piece of junk then it is. If you throw a shot out in the 7 or 6 and...

As Scott Pilkington said not too long ago here, it's not the pellets. 541 is a respectable score for only shooting it 4 times, but I guarantee if you spend $7 more a tin you will not be shooting in the 570's on your 5th string just because of them. I tested R-10's, Meisterkugln, Hobby's, and Basics ...

Thanks Jack, the kids love going to the science center here in St.Louis and that looks like a good place to start. Now all we need to do is find some fireworks. What to do in Columbus, GA

I am going to shoot the Nationals and was wondering if there was anything for the family to do in Columbus while I was shooting. Or are they just going to be bored and I would be better off having them come down after.

If you have only been shooting since mid april thats not bad at all. It's not an easy game and there is LOTS to learn. I think with some quality practice you will see your scores climb fairly quickly at first so keep shooting!! Scott

I agree that AP is great training for slow fire and for me possibly even a more challenging and rewarding sport. I think if you are shooting good timed and rapid and not so good slow you might be trying too hard. A lot of times the harder you try the worse you will shoot. Don't try just shoot. I don...

I was wondering how many of you use shooting specific shoes? Right now I am using "skate boarders" shoes and they do seem to help be more stable. The bad thing is though they don't seem to have much support and after standing in one place on concrete for over an hour my feet start to hurt....

Anybody know what size the grip screws are for a TOZ 35. I picked up a used one from CDNN and it is missing two. Larry's has them according to their web site but wwas hoping to be able to get them locally if possible(and hopefully for less than $20 a piece). If i cant find any does anybody think tap...
