Got my Toz done. New grip, Centra Balance, and LP-10 rear sight. Had to mill the rear sight bracket down to fit the Steyr rear sight but that turned out to not be too big a deal. The set trigger bar hit the fore end and so we milled a little off of that so it would clear. Rubbed the front sights on ...

I wouldn't worry about it. I am going to surmise that the heat from the powder explosion is enough to completely liquify the lube. I wouldn't worry about it either but it does not completely liquify like you would think. Our indoor range has a steel baffle just forward of the firing line and some d...

Rink's web site says their grips fit all frames except left grip frames which is why I asked. Apparently they are not real common. I know the light trigger weight of the free pistol is supposed to help but when you shoot 3.5 and 4 pound triggers on 45's the about 1 pound trigger on the air pistol se...

Toz 35 questions

I think I am finally going to get around to make my Toz suit my needs. I have owned it for a couple of years now but have never shot it because I need a left hand grip for it. I have been reading about how to increase the trigger pull weight and that is really what got me started wanting to start th...

Rink has them but they will cost probably more than the pistol itself.

Sounds to me like it is the cleaning that is the problem. If you run the bore snake through the barrel after every league night then the first shot of the first string of slow fire is with a clean barrel. The first shot in slow fire is conditioning the barrel for the rest of the match. I would not c...

Don't bother with the e-mail. Send a check with a note saying what you want and in about a week-10 days you will get what you want in the mail.

Go to a SCUBA store and buy their silicone grease. It comes in a little flat container with a clip on lid. You can use it for the air pistol seals also. A little goes a long way and be sure not to get any on the threads for the cylinder when lubing the seal. Scott

pressure on mine when the needle is centered over green/yellow is 80bar.

I know I have forgot to fill a cylinder and shot down to 50bar without any noticeable difference.

Here is an interesting statistic. This was published yesterday in USA Today. Step up prosecution by the Justice Department of felons and others prohibited from buying weapons when they attempt to buy them. In 2009, the FBI referred 71,000 cases to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosi...

The gun control crowd claim the high superior ground. We have offered good advise but it doesn't resonate with their superior morality. As a example I have read them claim in effect that a defenseless dead rape victim lying at the feet of her attacker is moraly superior to an attempted rape victim ...

Buy the Izzy now so that you have a gun that only you are shooting. Work on your fundamentals ( do a search) and save up for the LP-10. When you are close to having the money for the LP-10 sell the Izzy for close if not all of what you paid for it. It shouldn't be that hard to get rid of. As far as ...

As far as I know once everybody is back behind the line and the command is given " the range is clear you may handle your guns" you can pickup your gun remove the ECI and close the slide and be ready to insert a mag long before the comand to load. This could save you from the feeling of be...

Yes and yes. I did blow the fuse that came in it fairly soon after getting it. I went to Radio Shack and replaced it with a 1.5 amp "slo-blow" fuse and haven't had any problems since. If you leave it on for an extended period or forget to turn it off it will get quite warm but I haven't se...

And, imho, morini grips are more anatomically correct from the beginning. That just proves everybody is different and there is no way to know unless you try them. I dont have an E but on my lp-10 the Morini felt horrible and I strugled with getting it to fit for a long time and then got a rink and ...

It didn't hurt my feelings, I was just trying to figure out if the book I read was the book you had mentioned. It sounded like it was. And yes there was a lot of advancement in technology even from the start of the book to the end because it took them quite a long time to finally identify the boat. ...
