Bend of the River in Cookeville has NRA 3p matches each month starting in May. It is a bit of a drive, but we have shooters from your area that show up on occasion.

I had read that, but I don't need any help while in position or shooting. So far, I can't find any thing that prevents me from using a "prop" to get into position. That would include NRA and USAS. I have shot 1 NRA match using this technique with no problem; however, it was a local match. ...

Help getting into position

I have a permanent shoulder problem that makes mounting the rifle difficult in the kneeling position, and loading while in that position impossible. Is it legal to use a stand to help me load and/or mount the rifle? The stand would not touch any part of my body or rifle during the aiming or shooting...

My problem was that I had reassembled the bolt incorrectly which ended up causing my firing pin to break after a few shots. That is the only misfire problem that I have ever had. When decocked, my firing pin is just shy of being even with the leading edge of the bolt face. It looks level, but I can'...

You might try Volunteer Foam in Livingston, TN. My Step Son had 3 or 4 inserts made for a Pelican 1750 at $7.00 a peice. The foam is whitish, but it appears to be the same stiffness, etc. I think they normally make furniture cushions, so this may have been a one time deal, but for the difference in ...

I like the 5.0. I have tried larger and smaller, but 5.0 seems to do the trick.

I bought a used left handed one about 3 years ago and I love it. I am unable to lift my left arm due to injury, but I can still load in the prone position without too much movement. The trigger is very predictable and easily adjusted. I have broken a firing pin and bought the rifle with a broken rea...

I have 1.5 more years until college, and no, there isn't anybody that has a competition smallbore rifle (even though i do shoot .22's). Also, I don't know of any smallbore competition near Nashville. This team is out of Knoxville, but Mary would be able to direct you to any TN 3p events. bluedragon...

I shot my first 3p match in 25 years at Camp Perry this year. I plan on shooting more of them if I can find them.

Kneeling killed me at first, but once things got restretched all was well.

At 46 I've almost quit HP to focus on smallbore rifle.

All day to shoot 80 shots or half a day to shoot 160 shots. As little time spare time as I have, the decision was easy.

When I had to have a replacement part for my Walther sight, I stopped by Champion's Choice and they had it in stock.

Luckily, that is the only thing that I have had to replace, and that was because the previous owner had knocked the rifle off of a table.
